But my understanding if a fragrance was kept good, it still in good condition even it after the fragrance expired date.
And somemore nowadays lot of frangrance get reformulated until water down, so usually ppl will tend to get the vintage version?

i didnt have a chance to test the newer version of Dior Homme sport, but i definitely like what i purchased. STill a good bargain even if not authentic drool.gif

im just saying from what i notice during warehouse sales only...never said it couldnt be used still.
i also got a couple of bottles 6-7yrs old.

If I read it correctly, your batch code is 1x01, which according to http://checkcosmetic.net, it was manufactured in Oct 2011 but yours is a current version (first released in 2012) with silver collar instead of the original 2008 with black collar.

QUOTE(ferros @ Jun 28 2016, 09:57 PM)
Hi All,

Wanna ask all fragrance expert here, can i come into conclusion that a fragrance is genuine as long as it meet the following:
-batch code same within the box and bottle
-No any defect on the bottle itself
-Batch code can be check and found online

Reason being was i recently purchase a fragrance from a shop in one of the shopping mall.
Fragrance i brought was Dior Homme Sport.
It was damn damn darn CHEAP!!! RM 150 for any 2 fragrance, so i end up getting this Dior Homme Sport on RM 75 only.

This price got lead me to suspect it was fake, or not genuine.
The box seem like a bit different with current Dior Homme Sport packaging. Not sure is it old version.
The only downside i notice was the cap was very loose.
But i check those details/batch code it seem all fine, the fragrance was manufacture on 2011-10.

I even got test this out on my skin, it longevity was considered superb for a sport fragrance, even though i need to over apply it. But it last 8 hours ++.
The smell should be the same as per ori, i got smell the tester at Sephora once, from my nose it should be same.

So it seem like a good deal for me and is a genuine product, but since i am still new in this, so wanna get some thoughts with all guru hereĀ  laugh.gif

There is one shopping mall selling cheap perfumes in my place. All the perfume box there got "dubai duty free" sticker. I bet those are not genuine. As i google, dubai duty free perfume website selling perfume more or less the same with our price here. But the shop selling dior / armani for less than rm100. Guess it is fake (the perfume in my place)

Same with me. Still cant find the right one for me. Tried amen, le male, armani adg, due to the longevity. But none really last long on my skin. I dunno. No perfume really last long on my skin.

For now, i really like the smell of armani code and dior sauvage. But too pricey for me. Cant afford to get tom ford, creed or amouage for now. Huhu

Buying a perfume in small quantity (let say 10 or 20ml) , as the seller bought the perfume to share/split with other perfume lover with minimal profit.

Let say i bought 100ml of tom ford private blend for rm1000. Then i sell / split to you 20ml, for rm260 - 280. Include postage, bottle etc. Thats split. With very minimal profit.

This one from google >> In the simplest terms, you agree to split a full bottle of perfume with one or more other people.

We can get split from USA. Much much cheaper.

Hahah, check out Creed Aventus price also while you are at it.

If it was me , just shoot first , ask for splits later . You will not be in Bangkok too often .

Just make sure get those famous/ exclusive and most sought after ones . Like Aventus , TF Tobacco Vanile sure got market if priced reasonable.

Aventus pricing is nothing special. Diff just a little even after the VAT claim.

TF and Privee's the one which are making the most different

lol nice trip man...

Indeed price diff for Aventus is insignificant however they offer royal exclusif flacon, around 22k baht after VAT and also the new one Royal Mayfair. of which my review of it will be up very soon

RM 2.5k falcone must be for the 250 ml one right. The 500ml falcone for creed s are usually 800 USD.

Not interested with Creed.

Eyes are either on TF Private Blend or Dior Privee

More inclined on TF since it's rather exclusive.

Lady boss nearly pulled a Hermes outta the store thou :/
