Can share the best method to apply screen protector?
My experience:
1st try: Microfibre cloth touch the sticky side while applying.
Have to throw away.
2nd try: Reapply screen protector because I can spot one strand probably from microfibre cloth but introduce 6 new strands when trying to wipe the screen again..

At 21 March only get tempered glass so I hope to prepare myself..

Scratches are unavoidable with the Switch. Particularly with the bottom where the port is. Unless you dont plan to use console mode, and rarely meddle with docking it in, there are bound to be scratches at the bottom no matter how careful you are. I've been using iPhone dock and that only involves the cable portion getting into the iPhone charging port, and still get scratches after docking and undocking it everyday.

The best way for me to install the screen protector = let the guys at LYP do it for me. The added incentive is the screen protector installer gets to fondle and try out my Switch as the reward. tongue.gif

Oh damn i didn't know they bring that case over, would have bought from them instead of play-asia..

--------------------

True screen protector installation.. just ask the person that you bought from to apply it for you, easy and they are pro at it lol. That's why I avoid to buy online screen protector wise.

As for scratches, I've been docking and undocking a bunch of time without the switch having any screen protector and so far no scratch at all. Just carefully dock it and slowly does it. As for the bottom part, if you do it carefully, I think it's hard to scratch either, but in the near future, mine will probably get scratched too.

Took the plunge. IF the delivery time is true, will only be here by the very end of this month. Until then, it's a "play-stop playing-charge" cycle kinda routine, instead of simply charging while playing without losing battery power.

Impulse didn't bring in tempered glass, only have Hori so have to buy online but Impulse Sunway say can help me apply screen protector although I didn't buy from them. Thumbs up to them.

Why the TV?! mad.gif

For the cost, I'm actually looking for 3 use case:

1) home (the dock, + cables, everything leave there)
2) going around (meaning must buy extra charger and a very good powerbank. The pouch and screen protector too.)
3) main di ofis (better not, later boss marah)

But I'm sure the planning I had ain't overboard though.

Meanwhile, to update; Polygon reports that irregardless if you buy a physical cart or online, the game is still "locked" to a single console. I'm not sure what that means for 2nd hand cart market, but I'm very sure for me, it seems Nintendo is pushing for "buy the cart, not online" subtly (especially when I thought it's just "sure, let's go online and ditch the cart, as in my previous posts) due to the limitations.

valid arguement @hyperyouth_firepower

just have patience then. price will drop or better bundles will come in the months to come

after all, this is a new console / portable need some time for it mature and Nintendo haven't iron out the kinks in the machine yet.

For those that paid rm60 for Qisahn's Fast Shipment, they are actually using FedEx to ship out the switch from SG to Malaysia.

i haven't bought any accessories.

i experimented few times docking and stuffs.

there is no scratch at all, i find there is pretty spacey when you insert switch to the dock, as long as you are careful it will slot it easily. I tried 8 times, in and out of the dock, no scratches on screen or any parts.

watch the screen test of nintendo switch below
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYgeTGHKraM

after watching this i dont think i will be getting any screen protector at all

the plastic screen is at least lvl 5 scratch resistant. even if you use a apple knife and try to scratch it, there will be no scratch mark.
