Thanks man! laugh.gif
Damselflies and dragonflies are quite easy to photograph, thanks to their territorial behaviour laugh.gif They (especially the males) tend to guard their territory, so even if you disturb them, they will almost always return to the same exact spot, giving you plenty of chance to better your shot thumbup.gif The same applies to robberflies, another favourite for macrographers laugh.gif
*
until now i still haven't meet even one robberfly cry.gif

They are always around, you just need to know where to find them brows.gif
You only need someone to show you how to find one particular insect/subject/animal once, then they will be very easy to find liao haha  laugh.gif
*
yeah lol, but no kaki around me cry.gif might be going to FRIM again these few days, any particular spiders you want me to shoot? haha

i would suggest the d610, if the d610 is enough for you, no point getting the d750. d610 is not a bad camera by any means, go for the d750 only if you really need the good AF performance and some other little features. without a lens what can you do tongue.gif

Hi guys, is the Nikon d5300 a good beginner's DSLR?
I'm looking to landscape, macro and especially low light + night photography.
*
you can even shoot the things that you've listed with a d3100.

as others said, lenses matter a lot more. I am running d7000+sigma10-20+sigma150mm they serve me well from macro to night photography smile.gif

it's really a nice town for photography, you still get a good balance of greens, scenes and a modern touch here and there smile.gif
*
yeah true, I used to stay in KL and Kampar in comparison is a heaven to me as there's so many awesome scenery to enjoy and photograph. too bad it's getting more and more developed like any other places sad.gif

How much?

Sorry guys I know its a bit annoying tho but after reading a lot about lens, still kinda confuse the differences, usage, price etc. So short question what is the differences between the kit lens 18-55mm vs 17-55 f2.8 lens? they are roughly the same range right.
I dont really need zoom lens much, just that I prefer clear shot smile.gif Maybe that one is more about skills? doh.gif
*
almost 99% of the time YES.

if you don't understand the difference between those lenses, then no point buying any of them. stay with what you have currently, as you progress you will know what you need.
