Hi pros,

was thinking to get a D5200, but YL camera in pudu plaza quote for RM2000(body only), in lowyat some shops quote RM1900++ with kit lens VR.

so what is actually makes the price difference? or its just pure different shop different price?

thankss

Didn't know that D5200 still cost that much now ohmy.gif price difference mainly based on warranty and shop itself, grey market units are normally cheaper than local MY warranty smile.gif

+1 some are AP and some are genuine units, have to check properly if warranty is important to you nod.gif
Also, if budget is not too much of a problem, getting a D5300 would be better laugh.gif

Fly: Oh my, what super long legs you have Mr. Bianor!

Bianor: All the better for me to strangle you with! >:D

This particular spider has exceedingly long and well-developed legs 1, and is closely related to Harmochirus.

An adult, male Hyllus heavy jumper. it seems that the two, characteristic "horns" on the heads of male spiders of this particular species tend to fall off as they age, often misleading people to think that they are different species.

you buy the D750, do you have additions funds to get a lens or available lens?

If not, just get the D610, it's already good as it is. Unless you don't mind getting the D750 and spending a bit more on getting a lens.

P.S D750 body only price now around 5.8K, bought a D750 a 2-3 months back.

That's the problem, i do not have FX lenses and my budget quite tight to fund for lenses.

and the lense and free 50mm on D610 are quite attractive to me

i would suggest the d610, if the d610 is enough for you, no point getting the d750. d610 is not a bad camera by any means, go for the d750 only if you really need the good AF performance and some other little features. without a lens what can you do tongue.gif

Hi guys, is the Nikon d5300 a good beginner's DSLR?
I'm looking to landscape, macro and especially low light + night photography.

Then get the D610 kit. If it comes with the free 50, it's a good deal already.

Any body can do what you want to shoot, problem is the lens tongue.gif

It's a good body if you're just into the hobby but if you gave us a budget, probably we can suggest something more suitable for you and also lenses to buy.

Right. My budget less than 3k only. I think with that budget only can get a normal zooming lens? hmm.gif

D5300 body alone is around 2.4K already, with the kit lens 18-55 it's around 2.7K.
but if you take the 18-140, it's gonna be perfect 3K.

Up to you to decide, the 18-140 doesn't seem viable for you (yet) since you're shooting landscape, macro and night photography. Might want to spend some extra money from the 18-55 kit lens and get a those landscape filter sets/tripod or save up the money for a macro lens

But I have heard numerous news about the 18-55 kit problem about it's AF motor after a while of usage (but take it with a grain of salt)
