CE has usually always been pricey premium, and only a few are actually worth it but then whether it's worth it or not depends on the person, it's one of the reason I stop buying into CE

Also the box always will be padded and oversize to protect the content, they can't really make it compact since there are chances the box might be crush and damaging the content inside. They are not design to be shipping friendly to be honest, they are design to look nice and protect whatever inside of it.

Well FFXiV ARR CE was small, still having 1 sealed copy of it   
Wish they could produce this CE without the figurine in it. The premium price of it might due to the figurine itself
