Got better forwarder recommendation ? I've been looking.. At least reliable and not Delivery Half Lost + Got and Run cases. Been looking and i couldn't find one.
*nvm... i googled a few and found that certain site is offering discount for normal EMS rates and they don't even have service charge fee* But these site do not offer english assistance . No issue for me anyway, i've been dealing with quite a handful of pure japanese sites without issue.

Damnit Tenso. They offer premium price tag service but do things like snail. After the parcel reach me, i'll immediately delete my tenso account.

The quote i got from tenso for my heavensward is 3180G . Available nearest option 3 kg and 3.5kg. So have to choose 3.5kg option.
EMS rate for 3.5kg is 4500 yen and 5% off = 4,275 YEN.(You only need to pay)

The indicated weigh doesn't necessary represents the weight of the parcel. It's sometimes also measured according to the parcel's dimension. If they use a bigger box to contain your small package, the price will be more expensive then it originally is. Tenso has been a big entity and they should receive certain discounts rate from EMS for using their services. Hence which is why they tried to make your parcel heavier then it originally is by repackaging it with a bigger box. Heavier = Higher price and they gets better returns from the discounts they get. The expansion if packaged rightly and along with it's dimension should weigh no more than 3kg.

How tenso get 3.180KG is something really questionable.

CE has usually always been pricey premium, and only a few are actually worth it but then whether it's worth it or not depends on the person, it's one of the reason I stop buying into CE

Also the box always will be padded and oversize to protect the content, they can't really make it compact since there are chances the box might be crush and damaging the content inside. They are not design to be shipping friendly to be honest, they are design to look nice and protect whatever inside of it.
