Expansion doesn't come with 30 days game time, only new game does. You need to login to download the patch so yes sub is required.

First patch is 4gb probably for launcher update, etc, once done close and launch it again to download the rest of the patch which is another 4gb

hey guys, for those who has purchased ffxiv heavensward EU (non steam) cdkey from me, kindly note that you will be furnished another cdkey from me for the full access activation on 23/24th June when heavensward is officially released.

If i haven't contacted you for it (as i have a lot of messages in forum and its hard to track back, so do pm me around that 23rd june to retrieve your cdkey, or whatsapps me if you contacted by whatsapps earlier).

For PC preorders, all the keys that are given are 20 digit keys which grant pre-order items as well as early access however they don't grant the game licence for heavensward yet, Square enix will only dispense those key to merchants 1 day or during the release day, so do take note, thanks.

guys im having problem with the installation....
i patch the 1st 4gb but when i try to restart the client
it wont download the second 4gb patch
it just keep display server is under maintance now ..
any solution?

Try asking Square Enix customer service. I'm guessing it's because they're currently doing maintenance on their system, but I might be wrong.

Last night when im patching i gotten to 3.2GB and then my net was down.Restarted back the client and it dloaded 5.3GB more, im guessing is the remaining of the patch.
Maybe u need to restart the client a few times?

restart 10+ times before i go to work
now have to wait till i get off of work baru can try update
was hoping can straight play it after work
