I restored my phone as new and the battery is still not that long lasting. I think one of the reason why the battery go down so fast is because of the signal coverage. More coverage less battery usage, most of the time i get only 1-2 bar at my area so maybe the signal is causing the battery problem.

This is definitely the main reason for battery draining problem. My friends from Germany said that their iphone 6 battery drain faster in Malaysia, i think the reason is because we got poor telco signal

Just test it for one day to see if battery drain persist. After that you can restore if everything is ok. Usually, if battery usage returns to normal after a hard reset means there is a particular app which is causing battery leak. Delete that app and you are good to go. If battery drain still persist after reset without restore means its your battery that is problematic so you can send for RMA.

When you are in areas with low network frequency, your phone tends to keep searching for stronger signals and that will cause battery to drain quicker than normal.

that's why it's better to buy now, rather than waiting for GST to kick in. And next iphone will have the same design with minor change on spec and more expensive price tag.

This is the first time i saw bugs like this

happened to me before on ios 7, what I did was just sync my app with iTunes and it's gone.

1. Reboot
2. Remove from app store and reinstall
3. do a sync with your PC/mac

my battery drain in US here is as much as malaysia full LTE coverage almost everywhere
