someone offered me iPhone 6 imported from SG with attractive price, wondering is SG set warranty covered by Apple Malaysia? ( As the seller said "the iPhone 6 has international warranty, no worry" )

However, i did some quick research, people said that all Apple products have international warranty BUT not iPhone, iPhone only has local warranty, but these posts were couple years ago, i need some updated information.

And the seller mentioned, no physical receipt provided, coz iPhone warranty should be register online, is that true?

Hope someone could answer me, thanks in advanced and appreciate it.

i had called apple malaysia before..

they say no need proof of purchase or transfer warranty name..

if online stated warranty registered, then it should be no issue to claim it.

for iphone to have international warranty you have to buy the apple extended care or something and only available through online.. the one at m'sia authorised reseller sell apple care is for other products beside iPhone.. this one i ask when i bought mine at machines sunway pyramid.. he told me got one fella from dubai send for warranty with the apple care thingy for international warranty and his iPhone is gold front and back he said don't bother to buy the international warranty, too expensive according to him.. i didn't ask how much

and its good to keep receipt.. buyer will feel more secure if want to buy/sell..

Looks like we're going to see lower visitors to IT malls as well as Apple / Samsung Stores in the coming months, as GST starts to take effect eh?

Although eventually, things should be back to normal but after how long, that I won't know!

Sorry , have to post this out cuz I find it very dumb . Friend cracked his glass on his 6+ so followed him to get it repaired . Went to a few shops and finally found 1 with 1k for replacement . Replacement need to be done as a whole set with digitizer so fair enough . However , screen replacement goes by capacity  .  A 16G screen cant fit into 64G or 128G and vice versa . If it's fitted differently , the led brightness goes up half way only , meaning your brightest is actually in the middle for normal screen .
So the guy , technician , said he didnt believe it himself so gave it a try . Tried it with 16G and 128G screen on my friend's 64G . Sure enough , the screen is not bright . Finally , he went a "borrow" a 64G screen from the shops nearby and of course , it works . Now , who on earth makes screen according to phone capacity ? Only Apple can do it or someone correct me if i'm wrong

I don't know whether there will be any long-term damage but I usually use my shirt to clean the TouchID button, when in the office, or a hand towel if at home.

But one thing's for sure, by the end of the day, my iPhone 6 will have loads of fingerprint marks and that's when I have to do a thorough clean-up when back home!

Luckily mac city can accept Singapore unit, proven that must be purchased from Singapore Apple online store. Think of send for warranty now or send it when warranty almost end? (Send when warranty almost end, I can enjoy additional 3 months warranty)

I dont think you can claim warranty because of self accident but can try your luck and ask the service center. If im not wrong screen replacement at authorized service center is around 1k+. Outside repairers will be cheaper but not sure the screen they use is ori or not and it will void your warranty.

whoa didn't know ip6 screen is sooo fragile. Need to buy a tempered glass ASAP. currently using a cheapo rm20 screen protector.

I see, then need to find edge to edge tempered glass and better protecting phone case.

I've used ip4, ip5, ip5s before and none of my old phones have cracked screen.

I restored my phone as new and the battery is still not that long lasting. I think one of the reason why the battery go down so fast is because of the signal coverage. More coverage less battery usage, most of the time i get only 1-2 bar at my area so maybe the signal is causing the battery problem.

i think yes, but sometime if i saw the message on notification, i open whatsapp, unlucky my wifi is not tat gud, the massage not load at all. funny xia bcos i already read from the notification, but in apps need load second time.

fully turn on, battery life still same, not much affect since i on first day i use, the message still sometime slow come in.

one of my friend also facing this issue, low battery always 1 day 2 charges, her phone just around 2 months,

now she almost turn all everything to make her battery sustain for a day, she major use on whatsapps too no game.

she turn off wifi, location service now.
