I don't know whether there will be any long-term damage but I usually use my shirt to clean the TouchID button, when in the office, or a hand towel if at home. tongue.gif

But one thing's for sure, by the end of the day, my iPhone 6 will have loads of fingerprint marks and that's when I have to do a thorough clean-up when back home! laugh.gif

Same thing I'm doing now, as I've got the exact same problem as ITgeekboy - oily and wet fingers! icon_question.gif

Must be something to do with our hot and humid weather eh? sad.gif

Not hot and humid weather.. but more to our sweat glands are more active. (doctor description.. haha)

should be ok cos it's using sapphire glass for the touch id plate. but anyway, mine was with a layer of protector, so i will just discard it once it's difficult to clean..

Hahaha, that's why the protector is such an important thing for our prized iPhones, since it helps to prevent direct appearance of stains, scratches, etc. on the surface! rclxms.gif

Mac City 1 Utama is having a clearance for some refurbished sets starting tomorrow, if anyone is keen...

It's happening at 1U's bargain corner at the rainforest section. Good luck smile.gif

Oh yeah, iOS 8.2 has been so-far-so-good thus far and if you noticed, the most significant thing to appear on the home screen is the "Apple Watch" app. thumbup.gif

Looking forward to try it out when the Watch finally debuts in Malaysia later this year! rclxms.gif

I'm still skeptical about smart watches... Maybe Apple will change my mind, ha ha..

well, i for now just want the phone to work for me, not i have to work the phone. after using android for almost 4 years, that what android makes me feel. i ahve to do a lot of deep settings, install this, install that, root this, unlock that, tweak this, do that.... just to do one thing....

maybe its just me. i happy to be back to ios now, the one thing i dont really like about iphones is the accessories are expensive. haha.

At least you lasted four years in Android. I only managed to survive a year. Then again maybe my experience would have been different if I was on a Nexus instead of a Sam...

yup for the 300++ you can buy a good accessories for the phone.

if I'm not mistaken, for original set, if you send for warranty to fix the phone, usually they will replace it with new set and the new set is a refurbished set.
I did received a replacement unit once after sending it for warranty and straight away sell it to others biggrin.gif

Looks like I over-played Football Manager since this morning, as my phone has dropped to 16%, and it's just lunchtime!

Gotta get it charged when I get back to the office, as I'm with a colleague having lunch appointment and didn't bring my power bank! sad.gif

Four years with Android? Not bad, as I also lasted only a year but switched between TWO Samsung phones before ditching the last one for an iPhone 5! laugh.gif
