since Hasbro are releasing all these combiners based on the IDW comics, then i think it would be more accurate if the IDW scales are used here.
the closest we can get to determine the actual size in comic is to compare Devastator with Superion because it's the closest we can get, for now. there is a comic stripe where Prowlstator ripped Superion apart and from the scenes itself, it seems like there's no difference between the 2 therefore it is safe to say that all combiners should by right be of the same dimension.
Devastator is just made big for the matter because probably:-
1) he is perhaps the most celebrated Decepticon combiner; and
2) he is made out of construction vehicles so making him extremely big kind of make sense.
The only crazily big transformers would be Metroplex and Trypticon but of course, Unicron but he is out of this world.
But it's not unnatural though as Hasbro did mention that Devastator is a Titan Class so he is not supposed to sit well with the other combiners. Just like how they release the legends class Skywarp. Skywarp is not supposed to be so small.
All scale goes out the window when Bruticus walks in with his shuttle arm, though. the closest we can get to determine the actual size in comic is to compare Devastator with Superion because it's the closest we can get, for now. there is a comic stripe where Prowlstator ripped Superion apart and from the scenes itself, it seems like there's no difference between the 2 therefore it is safe to say that all combiners should by right be of the same dimension.
