How to suggest McD Malaysia to intro more new variety of food? Besides burger and porridge... why not rice with chicken?

I don't think McD Malaysia will make a change nor accept our opinions.

I have to agree on this. KFC Malaysia introduces new products from time to time and is comparatively more innovative and localised than McD Malaysia.

There are only so many things you can serve from chicken and beef. Also the difficulty to get other ingredients which are certified. After that if its too new an item they have to convince customers that it is safe to consume. So better recycle already accepted products, less headache and stress.

Like leetan mentioned, the meats aren't the problem, the ideas are.

Other countries can actually think of innovative menus. Over here, the same food every year. I dunno if they're scared to try out new stuffs or are just lazy to R&D. Some barbecue sauce? Oh, Beef Samurai. Chilli Sauce? Chicken McSpicyVolcano. You get the picture.

Come to think of it, have we seen anything refreshing over the years?

Hmmm let's think of a new recycle the same product!

No more idea? Let's double up the patties and market it as new products! rclxm9.gif

What? You need more idea? Let's add some black pepper on the patties and TADA! Black Pepper Spicy Chicken McDeluxe!

OH last but not least, put a logo or label of "Limited Time" to make it look as new as it was.

That's exactly the reason why McD Malaysia refuses to innovate and sticks to its recycled menu offerings every year. No demand, no supply.

They don't have our huge client base whom are sceptical of new products and have to be convince that its safe to eat. Come on, DNA testing to certify it safe for consumption?

They don't need DNA testing since MacFoods already have their trusted suppliers. Just learn from other countries and test out new burgers. Who knows, there are demographics actually waiting for that to happen.

Just like KFC with their different chicken flavors, why can't McD follow suit?
