Hi guys, does my portfolio good?

eastspring dana al ilham
aberdeen islamic world equity
pheim asia ex-japan islamic

any comments?
goon topup al ilham as sc is 1% =)
*
I don't like Pheim Asia ex-japan, the Malaysia holding is quite high and the performance been lacklustre recently. Sold-ed

But then, I don't have recommendation for you as replacement if your requirement is a shariah compliant asia pac fund

icon_question.gif this just came to my mind.....
not sure if this is a GOOD idea or if it is a good choice or plan.

thinking of setting up a portfolio for my sons education/some startup monies after school (if they cannot continue higher education)
duration is about 15 yrs
1st 10 yrs would be "buy and forget about it"
review after 10 yrs because of need to relocate assets/funds because left 5 yrs time frame.

I was thinking since "buy and forget"...I don't not think stock mkt a good option? b'cos if there is any rumours or any irregularies...no one is there to monitor or to sell the shares...

if UT funds....at least got FMs to monitor...(assumed to have monitor)

was thinking of (based on past performance)

Ponzi 2.0 30% (less M'sia than Ponzi 1.0)
CIMB Titan 20 %
KGF 20%
EISC 20 %
EI GEM 10%

any suggestion/comments?

already have SSPN for tax purposes.

hmm.gif only hv 2 choices in FSM
AmGlobal Emerging Mkts Opportunity is having a portfolio allocation that I liked but performance records not convincing
http://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/admin...eetMYAMGEMO.pdf
the other one EI GEM, portfolio having to many "little, little % on too many countries
http://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/admin...eetMYPRUGEM.pdf
