Ugaiz are looking it from the perspective of Bolehland peepul. Now turn it around and look at it from the perspective of foreign fund manager:

i) We now have a govt that is serious reducing its debt by increasing its tax on its slaves eerr I mean citizens....

With these points, external fund manager will always use Bolehland stock market to reduce beta, not enhance alpha. Hence we have a very defined role to play in the world of fund management.

Well, don't say I'm a loser or what.

If I were to consider a China fund, I'll choose CIMB-Principal Greater China Equity Fund. Lower risk to more exposure.

Of course, some may just choose RHB-OSK Big Cap China Enterprise Fund:

QUOTE
A quick search using our Funds Selector will reveal that RHB-OSK Big Cap China Enterprise Fund is the only single country Chinese equity fund on the Fundsupermart platform. The fund aims to acheive its investment objective through a diversified portfolio of equities and equity-linked securities issued by companies whose businesses are in China, with these companies having a market capitalisation of at least USD1 billion. The fund adopts a multi-step investment process, combining a bottom-up investment process that involves rigorous company research with a top-down process to review asset allocation at the sector levels based on analysis of macroeconomic trends and country dynamics. The fund seeks to add value by investing in a selective range of opportunities that have strong attraction based on company fundamentals.

Sounds like PM PCSF.

the SC displayed got separate between EPF or Cash? notworthy.gif
found this 2012 article
"The benefits of investing using EPF savings are lower sales charges, which are capped at 3%. This cap is imposed by the EPF and compares favourably with conventional cash investments, where the sales charge can go up to 6.5%. This allows EPF members to enjoy better returns. In addition, at Fundsupermart.com, our sales charge is capped at 2% whether you invest using EPF savings or cash. This makes us more attractive compared to other distributors".

Yes, because it'll be considered as if you bought on Monday.
