Hi everyone,

I'm about to invest in CIMB-PRINCIPAL ASIA PACIFIC DYNAMIC INCOME FUND. The agent at the CIMB branch recommended it. My question is:

What is the difference between buying from the bank and buying from Fundsupermart? Is it better to buy from Fundsupermart as I've read that the sales charges are significantly lower?

I'm investing for long-term, so I don't check the market conditions everyday. Looking at 5-year horizon or even longer.

The difference:

1. Lower SC with FSM
2. Fund is not under your name but to FSM's trustee
3. For longer term, you should consider CIMB-Principal PRS Plus Asia Pacific Ex Japan Equity - Class C as it is a feeding to CIMB-PRINCIPAL ASIA PACIFIC DYNAMIC INCOME FUND at 0% SC. However, before jumping into it, reading what PRS is all about first.

there is chart to show the allocation according to the %.....
is this allocation on the charts shows the initial allocation (initial value invested) or the latest allocation (current value)

example,
initial,...have RM 1000 in Malaysia, RM 1000 in US
the chart shows 50% in M'sia 50% in US??

after 2 years current result/NAV value
RM500 in M'sia, RM4500 in US
the chart would show 10% in M'sia, 90% in US?

for the past 6 months my Emerging Opportunity had been submerged....only to be near Minus 0.5 in Dec (to take in some air thru the nostrils) and then went back down again.....today it came up again...now still MINUS 0.1.
will see if this turtle is really going to come up to dry land for good or is he going to do the same breathing and go back down under again....
