if you want to play pokemon etc. no need for 'new 3ds' since the game engine don't get much (or any) improvement with the new 3ds series.
and consider this as a simple verbal warning for those who can't read the subforum rules or pinned thread regarding... you know.... your removed posts |

Does anyone know where to buy hand grip for new 3ds xl? My ring finger feels tired after playing for a while.

Hi all, as per titled... Im looking to purchase a set of 3DS console but am in a dillemma as to which console to buy.
For Pikachu - well because it's limited edition and it's cute and it's relatively cheaper. For the NEW 3DS XL - So that can future-proof and play any games that may come up only for "NEW" ... it's more expensive Asked those game shops and they said that games will still be produced for both consoles with some exception like Xenoblade to be only for "New"... I am sure that game developers will make use of the NEW system and produce games which are improved in graphics. Please advise !! |

Yea I understand but who knows along the line they may port some other games like Xenoblade to the 3DS. The NEW 3DS will always have the upper hand in playing games that were made specifically for it. (Selected games)The 3DS XL on the other hand will be just fine with playing all the current & new games (my main intention is the Mario/Pokemon/cooking mama/harvest moon/Zelda) franchise which I think would not matter too much if I were to have a new or the 3DS XL. But since I do not own any of the 3DS, I would like to find out if I should go with. Of course the NEW 3DS will be more expensive compared to the pikachu edition. |

QUOTE(xavier7 @ Aug 2 2015, 04:34 PM) Is it worth to pay the RM300 extra for that? My main interest for the 3DS are mainly the Mario/Pokemon/Harvest Moon type of games offered by Nintendo That little extra - I can buy accessories and 2 games with it This is hard :/ |

So it's worth the wait then? Edit - Google search result came back with a lot of rumours and hearsay... it's said to be a replacement for Wii U. Therefore, will this be applicable to handheld consoles like the 3DS XL? This post has been edited by Thalmes: Aug 4 2015, 12:38 AM |

Sorry, i was bored and didn't expect anyone to take NX seriously yet but I doubt there will be much more exclusives for New 3DS. Nintendo is moving on to the NeXt big thing.Good luck waiting. Let's wait til New 3DS XL price drop. Jpn New 3DS XL is selling for RM750 @Impulse, so that could work. This post has been edited by nill: Aug 4 2015, 07:11 AM |

Like what Rei has mentioned, the wait for the NX is gonna be really long. As per mentioned before, it's either the pikachu console or the new 3DS XL... With the pikachu, I get to save at least 200 bucks which I can use it for games / accessories. The game that I want to play are playable on the pikachu as well... so it really doesn't matter if I have the "NEW 3DS XL" or not. Looking to purchase 2 at once for my and my SO to play together. Therefore the RM200 difference per console does make a difference |

Thalmes, you can ask @Impulse if they still have stock for refurb RM500 3DS XL. That's a bigger saving.
