Hmmm here is my opinion
They call the PS3, WII, X360 a Next Generation Console
But... I don quite see PS3 and x360 have the right to be called as the Next Gen Console and the way of playing it is still the same and only the graphic are better. *You guys know PC's graphic will always win*

Now lets move on to Wii, Its what we call Next Gen! Win the new way of holding a controller which is Wiimote. Graphic doesnt really matter as long the game is good to play! Well of coz good graphics bring happiness too biggrin.gif

Juz wanna say Malaysia have different taste on console, ever since ps1 release which im stuck on n64. I can see many ppl left sega and nintendo and support sony to todays.

Well... Nintendo support like us do. DO support original. AND LONG LIFE NINTENDO. We should be proud of ourself as not many ppl in Msia owns Nintendo Consoles and Handheld. *not including GB generation* tongue.gif

Yesterday I go to Mid Valley and check out the Nintendo counter. The NDSL cost rm699 and NDS cost rm599. Is it cheap? Is there any difference between the two version. I dont dare to ask cause I'm not buying.

Btw, can NDS play GBA games? I was kinda want to get all the Final Fantasy for GBA.

NDS can play GBA games, retains all functionality of the GBA games except multiplayer, which you need a GBA SP for.

The DS Lite has 4 adjustable brightness levels, it's smaller and sleeker. The DS has only 2 levels of brightness (off, and on), and it's bulky.

I think the extra feature doesnt worth extra 100 bucks.

While Wii new controller is revolutionary in gaming, I doubt how much different it would be? How it possibly control or play through a RPG game? You cant expect the player to swing the Wii-mote for 40 hours gameplay. There might be advantage in mini games but how bout the mainstreme like RPGs and Action game? I didnt plan to buy any console now. Still aiming for the PS3.

The extra feature being the adjustable lights and size?

I can't say anything about the size (your call), but keep in mind for the DSL, even the lowest brightness setting is even brighter than the DS.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the DSL has a way higher battery life. The fat DS only has like 6-7 hours battery life if you keep the light on (and you probably have to, if you turn it off, even under sufficient light it's difficult to see). The DSL has more than 10 hours of playtime if you keep it to lower brightness.

I disagree. As highlighted by phoenix. The extra feature is well worth the 100 buck.
As for the Wii. If you prefer graphic over gamplay. I guess dont even bother to look at Wii. You might say that the controller for wii is usefull for only minigame. This i disagree. Ever thought of playing zelda or dragon quest? Wish you can swing your sword at the enemy instead of pushing the button?
What about the possibility of playing Final fantasy or Mana series game or any magic related game where you need to execute certain moves to attack?

Mainstream RPG will benefit from this game. Think of the controller as a wand or a sword for rpg.
Action game would be better. Hack and slash away using your controller.
Mind you , some might not like the extra exercise. But then, you tend to agree. You do dream of holding a sword and battling monster? Wii might just open the possibillity to that. biggrin.gif

So far I only see one launch titles thats worth getting on Wii thats Zelda: The Twilight Princess. This game is developed together with the NGC version. I agree having Wii-mote to swing and deal with your enemies in a RPG or Action game is very fun. But I would like to know how it actually works? Like how much action you need to put in a game, a slight swing? or you must act like you actually holding the sword and cut your TV into half. We often play game for 2 and more hours, during this long period it would be disaster if you swing your arm so frequent.

I wouldnt mind about the graphic, but I'm a Final Fantasy fan and will only buy the console that have the main series. So far I think Final Fantasy XIII is going to release for PS3. The extra feature for NDSL is only the adjustable light, I have to try it to see how different is it. I seen NDSL in action and the lighting is very good.

Well Thats quite a problem too. I can't see myself swinging away at the monster for more then 2 hour. But then again, i wont need to e going to gym after i get Wii. :/

But then we would have to wait and see wouldnt we? We cant really past judgement on something that is so new and have so much possibility to be explored. PS3 has so many games alraedy because of the fact that the console is the same old same old. Just better graphic (*correct me if i am wrong please? )

As for Wii though, motion controller is gonna open up to a whole new better possibility. You wont know what comes next on the game as the game developer embrace the idea of Wii. ( I still dont like the name.. Wii rhym with Wee too much sad.gif)

As for NDSL though, as you said, the only new feature is the light adjustment. I would like to beg to defer though. As the light adjustment itself is more then enough. You can turn it up or turn it down and this itself affect the battery life.
Also dont forget the weight, the sleek look, and the battery which has been improved.
If you have a DS there is not much reason to get DSL. But if you want to get a NDS, i would suggest you get the Lite version. As not to go
Damn, should have bought the NDSL instead of this brick.

Well....PS3 and Wii is something like PSP and NDSL..So what happen? Now a lot of ppl complaining that PSP is just supperior graphics and the gameplay is still the same and a lot of the titles are deport from PS2. But NDSL introduce a new interactive play with the touch screen...Which game developers develope lots of new game play concepts for it.Heck ..now i can even play advance wars with the touch of the screen instead of scrolling the whole map with the d.pad.....PS3 i just called it a hardware upgrade but for Wii and NDSL, i call that INOVATION!!!

PS: For your info PS3 with 60GB hard drive is selling for RM3600 and the 30GB version is selling for RM2900. I dunno the price for Wii but they say it is much cheaper

after my long dissapearance .... i am back to post stuff then dissapear again.... hee hee...

Wii is good
Wii is fun
Wii if pretty
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

ok la... Wii will definately have a Warioware game! And that beats lots of stuff.

At the end of the day it depends on you. Do you want graphics only? Or would you prefer to have a machine that lets you play some light fun games, AND also got some smacking titles available.

The thign about tired hands had been extensively discussed. The way they show how it was played is .... well.... just for SHOW la... actual play testing says that a simple flick of the wrist will do.

Also, imagine Warioware twisted, and then imagine it going beyond the one axis game play.... wooooooo..... and our hands not that tired from playing Wario right?

Constant moving is also better for our health... hee hee... Being stationary in the same position for long hours is bad for us humans.

cheers....

by the way... M@M@... should we call you Mama or Momo or Mamo or Moma?
