Hello everyone

So, I have had this sim card from DiGi for long time, I recently had to change residence and reception is terrible. I decided to change to U-mobile which has good reception in the area. I went to Timesquare U-mobile center and applied to change sim card with same number and was even given the new simcard and asked to wait for a couple of days . Suddenly I received two sms from both Digi and u-mobile stating that my request was rejected and I should contact them for more details

My question is: What could be the thing that went wrong? And how to get to Digi customer service call center? and is it the gonna be helpful? Do I have to change the phone number?

Thanks in advance

1) During your initial registration with DiGi, certain information could be wrongly captured. For example your name could be Mohammad Ali but was registered as Muhammad Ali.

2) You have outstanding with other telcos which you have not settled and you have been put into the telco's blacklist.

3) Mobtel being ported is under suspension.

This 3 reasons are the most common issues that happens.

like one of the jceh83 said, its either wrong info or outstanding. u can try call u mobile contact centre and ask them why the port in is rejected. they will tell you the reason.

Thank you all for your replies and sorry for lack of info smile.gif

My number is active. It's prepaid and currently using it normally

From the reasons you mentioned, I am guessing the wrong captured details is the most likely cause

In case that was correct, can I correct the info and then do the transfer?

Thank you again guys smile.gif
