Buat masa ini, saya menasihatkan abang agar menumpukan kepada pelajaran dan fokus membuat networking di sekitar kampus secara sihat. Dan perlu hentikan prejudis menganjing kepada pelajar2 berasal dari Sarawak dan Sabah because eventually if you want to venture into O&G, Borneo will be a start for you (apart of Terengganu & MTJDA area).
I still hold my revenge to those who mengutuk Sarawak during my undergrads. Seriously I marah.
Built networking tak perlu clubbing bagai. Ada cara halal yang lain.
For now, jangan fikir sangat nak kerja offshore sangat. I suggest you pergi baca previous V1 to V6 O&G thread. Baca jangan tak baca.
I don't have anything against Sarawakians or Sabahans.
But the immigration policy of both states for org2 Malaya and the limitations of org2 Malaya to work in both states always bug me.
It's irony that I didn't need to show my international passport to any border customs when I was criss-crossing the Western Europe, but I need to show my Malaysia IC and fill up "custom forms" whenever I enter Sarawak or Sabah, a state that is part of Malaysia. I am a Malaysian the last time I check my IC. And we still need work permit to work in those "sister" states of ours. Forget about thinking of owning a property over there.
Sometimes one needs to look at the perspective view of org2 Malaya with regard to Sarawak and Sabah, in order to understand how certain prejudices against our eastern brethren came about. Moreover calling us "org Malaya" doesn't help the situation either.
Just something to ponder for the Sarawakians and Sabahans out there.
Side track a bit from the main topic from "org Malaya".
