well, he can always buy another sim that has a not-so-nice number and transfer all the credit there and use it for data for the next few months/years nod.gif

oh well, at least 6 months is not really that much for friendi. Since the minimum commitment to keep your number would be 3 x 0.04 = 0.12 / 12 cents while for others it could go much higher than that smile.gif

Anyone knows how I can change my Mini SIM to a Micro SIM? Can't seem to find info on service centres in Kota Kinabalu.

I know there's always the option of cutting it myself but I'm wary as it's an important work number. Or am I stuck with older generation phones because of the SIM size? cry.gif

Their package used to be very attractive for frugal data users because originally their data block is like 10KB block and now with these bullshit block, they are out of the game tongue.gif

friendi is very attractive package. I would mnp to them if only they have capping on pay-as-you-go data plan.

For a normal user, they will not know how to control their data and sometimes will used up all data then they started get to charged by pay-as-you-go. This is not good control. Their data plans also seems to cater to this direction. It's like they are banking on unsuspecting users to overuse their quota and then get charged for extra data usage.

If you are in Cheras, go to this shop (with Maxis Hotlink signboard) at Jalan Sembilang, Taman Tenaga, Cheras.
(GPS location : 03'06'51.45'N , 101'43'27.19"E). I just bought 2 pax at Rm15/= each (with RM12/= credit) 4 days ago. They still have about 20 pax at that time.
