Unable to make call to landline 03 number using Maxis Home Fibre Internet line since this morning, the error "the call cannot be completed at this time", however it has no problem to call cellphone and outstation land line number.

the 03 numbers are good, there isn't any problem to call from cellphone

Anyone experience the same thing?

yesterday maxis come to fix my slow connection.
they change my BTU from first gen Unifi BTU to latest white colour BTU Unifi.
yet speed still slow. end up they change my router..
not sure is lucky or what, as the technician short or home router, they change SME router for me.
the SME router is the Arminia router but upgraded version.
i feel it very very stable as compare to previous consumer arminia or tp link router.
no disconnection or speed drop after 24 hours usage.
yet stably support multiple device where i hv around 14 device connected at any point of time.
it constantly hitting 100mbps as well.  rclxms.gif
*
what is the model of your Arminia router??

Suggest you to contact Maxis, make the same complaint to MCMC to take action for undelivered services due to device faulty if Maxis does not take further action to rectify

For 100mbps, Maxis will provide a new router foc. You can keep the existing router as back up. Never let the installer take away the existing router on the pretext of new router exchange.

Ok, I only received an email on 100mbps, so if I don;t reply meaning they will auto upgrade and will come over to change the router right?

Thanks.
*
Maxis will provides a new router for 30mb too, the installer wanted to take away my existing router but i denied him to do so,
for his explanation, it is the sop!!!

Yea, that's the plan. I didnt register interest, really not keen to tie up with 2 years contract. Hopefully they will come and upgrade my router soon..
*
It is taken too long time for Maxis to identify the TP-Link router bugs since they have been implemented the new router about 4-5 months until now,
Sggest you to maintain the existing without upgrade or change to different provider

Hi,

I wrote email to China HQ TPLink and complaint for my router wifi issue, and local TPLink staff contact me and upgrade for me remotely.
but after upgrade to this 181217 firmware still not fix my problem yet, maybe wait for next version again.
My problem is c5v router use wds connection with my repeater only can work up to 12 hours or less, after that can't assign any ip to my repeater, and must daily reboot c5v to solve kind of probelm.

Technicolor router is working very well before change to this c5v.

not sure maxis didn't invest in hire the ppl to write their own router firmware or they hire some rubbish engineer  ranting.gif

I don't think maxis will fix the problem.
*
As at now, Maxis should have enough data for debuging, unfortunately this isn't the way we are expected for the services that Maxis has promised us or virtually eliminated, I couldn't accept the Fibre asking you to switch off/no for resolution or simply push away it to TM modem or site problem which requires 48h to answer you.

Suggest to complaint to mcmc to take further action for undelivered service of faulty hardware problem

My wireless network HP printer was not detected by my pc, tablet and phones even though the printer is connected to the same network.Do you reckon ipv6 is the cause ? printer was working fine with the previous Technicolor router.

Forget about the crappy Maxshit tplink c5v router, i have the same issues, thing i have done to use the alternative router,
In view of the error, it is the firmware bugs

I can't believe I'm saying this, but 4 months after switching from unifi to maxis (100Mbps) I'm regretting and counting down the months before the contract is over so I can switch back to unifi (20 months to go - yikes!)

First problem is intermittent connection on my PC (with LAN cable) when I'm having a lengthy teleconference (over an hour) or downloading a huge file (above 300MB) from file hosting websites. This is especially true during the nights when I suppose it is peak hours.

Second one, to echo cherriedpie, my mobile devices on the 5Ghz channels also keep getting disconnected or worse, at times, the devices can't pick up the 5Ghz channel even though I could be just in the next room, a mere 5 meters away from the C5v router. It's annoying. Has anyone here changed the router to your own and have better connection? I'm wondering if that is the cause...

Sigh, if only unifi had launched their 100Mbps plan for RM129 earlier...

Forget about the Maxis stock TPlink Router, change to the different router for resolution, example tenda ac18, anyway it is known problem without fixed by maxis

I am near to give up on this maxishit fiber already.. Currently I am on the Astro IPTV bundle (30mbps).

Routers I have:
Thompson
TM TPLink AC1200 v1 with latest firmware

Problem:
1. Keep disconnect and reconnect recently (on the modem level, the Auth and Link light went off)
2. Thompson router connection speed drop and die (package burst issue, I read in some thread about it)
3. TPLink seems to also have sudden death and infinite caching of my browsed website (cannot refresh even if i flushed dns), only works when I go onto mobile 4g network (so it is either the router or maxis).
4. Cannot use secured FTP to connect to other FTP servers, confirmed Maxis issue, no problem on mobile 4g or unifi.

The above really driving me crazy since I do freelance IT work and requires stable internet.

I need some opinion of which solution I should take, very on the budget so as cheap as possible.

Solution:
A. Replace it with a Tenda AC18 (seems recommended by most here, cheap oso, 278 on lazada)
B. Upgrade the plan to 100mbps, get new router from Maxis (but dunno what router, Astro support couldn't tell me)
C. Try fixing the TPLink router, then I need help on this, tried like everything to make it work but seems more worst than the Thompson router.
D. F*** it and move back to TM. But my astro would go back to satellite receiver.
E. Complain to MCMC about how sux the service is provided.

Is anyone facing the same issue as I am?
*
It is known Wifi router bugs by Maxis, as at now, there isnt fix and only playaround changes are to disable ipv6, dhcp time, can you accept this delivery service to you?

Maxis has rejected my cancellation and request for rm500 penalty, they do not agree for this error
