Just called Maxis CS and enquire about termination of Maxis Home Fibre.
1. Call their CS at 1800 82 1123
2. They can terminate on the spot
3. No need to return any equipment

Im using google DNS on my i-devices but i read somewhere maxis routers cant change dns

My guess, this is a ROUTING issue and not a DNS issue

TIME had this issue opening some specific sites

My solution was to simply reboot the router many many many times (10+ even some times) until I got an IP that worked

But since Maxis is on Private IP not sure will that trick work or not

It seems like CloudFlare did have an outage yesterday

But another consideration could be ECS (basically sending some of your info alongside to be able to be directed to a local server)
But CloudFlare and Quad9 doesn't do ECS, Google does, so that doesn't match up

Any idea if we are getting the speed upgrade like what Unifi is offering?

i tried to change to unifi, then maxis agent offer me 300mbps rm129 + 6months free. so im staying lol

To be fair, I never hear others talking about this and I'm not experiencing it myself. Everything streams smoothly regardless of the hours.

I did suspect due to the CGNAT. previously im was a happy user of Maxis. And when this issue happened they always denied straight away without further investigate. Only asked me to restart this and that.

If TM and Maxis 300mbps (after RM10 public IP) is same price i would switch to unifi.

Any congestion like Unifi at night time?
