If our laptop has a problem, where do we send it to? Any official service centre or just the shop that we bought it from?

My experience with Gigabyte so far are either 1) contact the place where you purchase it (for me its Illegear), 2) contact GigabyteNB in this forum, 3) send an email to Gigabyte Malaysia directly.

THe process is, Gigabyte service center will contact you (for me via email) and you will have to package the laptop and they will collect from you via courier. They will courier back to you once they fixed it.

and you are right , either of the 3 said ways would work just fine.

however , if you have anything installed by the reseller like extra ram , ssd ...etc , it's recommended to take it to them first.
