I'm a user of Gigabyte P25. Bought it around 2 years ago from Prince J of Illegear. Running with GTX 880M. And still running strong to this date.

Definitely one of the most hardcore gaming laptop I had ever used. Had a Sager previously but it died on me after one year.

Recently I was browsing Illegear's website and I noticed they aren't selling Gigabyte any longer.

I really like this laptop.. it is very thin and looks very attractive too as compared to my old Sager. So I was wondering... where should I go if I wanted to buy a new Gigabyte gaming laptop?

Thank you but that is a worldwide base facebook. Don't you have any Malaysian based Facebook Pages dedicating for Gigabyte?

This is just my opinion though,

Gigabyte gaming laptops are among the best I had the opportunity of owning in the recent years. It looks cool and classy, and very thin as well. People don't even expect it to be a gaming PC capable of Very High settings in Grand Theft Auto 5 and some other games at all.

Compare the size and looks against other gaming laptops, such as Alienware or Sager, Gigabyte definitely rocks!!!

Build quality is quite good too!!

Definitely a strong contender as far as gaming laptop niche in Malaysia is concerned.


The problem though.. is marketing. I visited the website before, and I felt it strongly discourage potential buyers. I myself, if not because I already owned one, might have bail out and chosen other products.

Do something about the website guys. Prince J of Illegear did a really good work promoting Gigabyte P25 / P35 series before. His website is full of details, pictures and explanations detailing each laptops plus, the black background really made it look professional.

I was scouring his Illegear sites looking for Gigabyte actually, as my P25 is nearing two years already. Might survive another two years before I needed to change to maintain gaming with High to Ultra settings... but I found out he no longer sells Gigabyte. Luckily I happened to find this thread here.

I think Gigabyte would stand a chance in gaming notebook niche if you can create a better website. Marketing can come later. Don't discourage people with the bad website design. Gigabyte had a lot of potential here.

Just a few suggestions I hope will be noticed by Techarmory. I'd love to see Gigabyte being used more and more in Malaysia.


As a side note though, P25 I'm using right now is definitely one of the best gaming laptop I ever owned. And looks cool too (yellow glossy). Will be looking forward to own another gaming laptop from Gigabyte soon... hopefully.

Thanks for your sharing. After a short discussion with our team, we got what you mean already on the website topic.

7 over 10 visitor who visited our website gave a good rank, so we think the design matter is more about perception, but we are not stopping here as we are now only at PHASE 1. We are working better for you to have better shopping experience on Gigabyte product soon!

Anyway we do agree that Marketing in Gigabyte is lacking which we are now working closely with GB for more activity.

Once again on behalf on Gigabyte Malaysia team, and Gigabyte notebook. We appreciate your valuable input.
