ASD should be slightly more. 2 reasons:(1) the carried forward undistributed profit is 4 cents per unit.
(2) it is the bumi only fixed price fund.

QUOTE(exitsortie @ Jun 6 2015, 10:21 PM) if you are interested in taking asb financing and buying a house soon, i just want to mention that some banks do take asb dividents as income, which means that your DSR will only be bad in their eyes for one year, when January's divident comes around, it will be improved by your ASB's divident. Some friends mentioned Bank Islam and RHB, among others, that do this. Yeah. I m housing investors here. However, when I applied for CIMB's ASB financing last month, the banker said that if I were to apply for house loan with them soon, they will even consider my ASB financing as some of my income, even before next year's divident comes in. Whether this is true or not, I cant verify because I dont apply for house loan with them so far. In short, if you are planning to buy a house soon, CHECK with the bank about this. If you are 100% sure not buying a house for, say, next 3 years, I strongly advice taking the ASB financing. All banks take in fixed price ASx funds as regular income when taking in the annual income |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Jun 26 2015, 12:37 PM) I donno why ASD always c/fwrd a lot compare with others ASx funds ASD is for Bumi only, perhaps they are following the ASB/ASB2 portfolio, so can get better return, as good as 11%yeah, I hope others ASx would also do well... can give 6.6sen also okay la considering the bad market now The different is ASB earn 11%, they pay out 8%, 3% carry forward, but ASD only pay 6.6% and keep the remaining. If ASD pay higher than AS1M, ASW, ASM, bumi investors may switch their fund to ASD account instead. |

Or one must present at the pos office/ ASNB offices to purchase? Only fixed price funds via cimb clicks, you can find info using Google.Thank you! https://www.cimbclicks.com.my/asnb.html |

QUOTE(wil-i-am @ Jun 30 2015, 12:39 PM) Agree. Because the price adjusted downward after the dividend distributed. Must announce the total return which like reflected in the other unit trusts. Morning star publish 1m/3m/6m up to 10 years |

http://www.malaysiagazette.com/ms/ekonomi/...-asn2-beruntung
i dont think ASN2 is sangat beruntung, the dividend paid is from 5.1x % to 5.4 % then to 5.5% in year 2015, nothing to shout about. |

QUOTE(dasecret @ Aug 18 2015, 10:36 AM) It's not FD, but look like/sound like FD.Reason being as FD: a) Fixed in price, consistant annual dividend payout without fail based on track records b) liquidity, can withdraw anytime. No limit of withdrawal if the withdrawal fund transfer to bank account. c) Can be pledged for OD/ Term Loan facility, i.e. ASB Reason for not a FD: c) No capital guaranteed nor protected d) Governed by Security Commission I am happy to see Dreamer 101 and few others join the discussion, to stir the discussion into more resourceful, multifaceted, look things from multidimensional. Otherwise, this thread becoming "where to open account? how much you can top up? oh...can top up RM500?...Good ...then 10 other forumers join and conrgat so-and-so is damn lucky, and similar discussion repeat 1000 times on the other trial and occasions/efforts by other forumers". Very boring. No contribution of new knowledge, more like cheating post counts. My 2 cents. This post has been edited by cheahcw2003: Aug 18 2015, 12:15 PM |
