u need to see the bursa announcement carefully.. some of it are done by those external fund managers hired by EPF..
u know right, EPF have a lot of fund house managing the money.. they need to perform to give good return to EPF

fyi EPF outsources RM86bil to external fund managers last year

Someone mention ASB2 can invest foreign share market, but in AR 2015 I don't see it

well if u read my previous posting.. there's seem to be unit available daily.. only difference is big amount or small amount

and not forgetting if the staff actually try for u.. if not then no units (staff said so to u)

please state clearly which bank allow to top up without passbook (OTC) & have u done it before...

Anyway I saw some interesting info in ASM AR 2015.. esp in Page 33




and yet some banks staff say unit sold out / no quota when we ask them

well I think the same issue has be raised before in ASNB previous Version Thread..

(if I remember correctly).. that ASB limit would grow bigger to take count the yearly dividend & would stay the same even u take all the money out

ASNB cannot reduce the limit back to 200k

and yes, u can put back the money in the account

veli simple. take ASB loan

for the past 17 years ASB dividend is always above 7% compare with EPF (4.25% - 6.84%).

logically which would u chose

ask in LYN can get more info than asking banks staff

yup.. still need to go to the bank

calculated from july - sept period only

already few time I mention it.. I'm lazy to go find it..

but I tell u now..

based on ASM annual report 2015, forummer updates & my own experience in top-up.. I can say there's unit available on daily basis.. the only difference is small amount or big amount.. so basically we won't go back home empty handed

and now school holiday season, & a lot of issues going on.. some are worried thus withdraw their money

Looks like price is getting lower by the day

units in circulation for ASG is 1.322 bil units, so approved Fund size should be around 1.5bil or 2bil units

I donno why ASNB don't publish their approved fund size in the Fund Fact Sheet but they do give units in circulation information

Now we can only see approved Fund size in yearly AR booklet
