THE WORLD IS MINE.... Author Unknown

Today, on a bus, I saw a very beautiful woman and wished I were as beautiful.
When suddenly she rose to leave, I saw her hobble down the aisle.
She had one leg and used a crutch. But as she passed, she passed a smile.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine. I have two legs; the world is mine.

I stopped to buy some candy. The lad who sold it had such charm.
I talked with him, he seemed so glad. If I were late, it'd do no harm.
And as I left, he said to me, "I thank you, you've been so kind.
It's nice to talk with folks like you. You see, "he said, I'm blind."
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine. I have two eyes; the world is mine.

Later while walking down the street, I saw a child I knew.
He stood and watched the others play, but he did not know what to do.
I stopped a moment and then I said, "Why don't you join them dear?"
He looked ahead without a word. I forgot, he couldn't hear.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine. I have two ears; the world is mine.

With feet to take me where I'd go..
With eyes to see the sunset's glow.
With ears to hear what I'd know.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine. I've been blessed indeed, the
world is mine.

There are about 7 billion people on earth and I am willing to go as far as to say there are about 7 billion viewpoints on God.

Lets accept that we will always have our personal viewpoints on the OT, the NT, Law and Grace.

Instead of focusing on our differences, should we focus instead on the common ground we all hold to?

i.e That Jesus Christ and His work on the Cross brings salvation for all mankind?

From a personal perspective, the disagreement that we have is similar to whether we should eat a soft boiled egg from the sharp end or the round end.
We should not forget the most important thing is we get to eat the EGG.

Does it really matter to God? Should it really matter to us?
Isn't God big enough to correct my brethren, if they are wrong, in a manner they are likely to learn from, and it is not necessary that I have to be the instrument to do it?

We have all heard how God appeared personally to various people when He really wants something done.

Joshua in the OT, Paul in the NT, and Sadul Sundar Singh from contemporary times.

I personally enjoy the banter much more than the "serious" stuff that flares up from time to time.

I would enjoy seeing more sharing on God's goodness, prayer requests and the occasional teaching, as long as it is not seriously offtrack.

Wow why is it that when one respectable brother brings out some issue, he gets the undue respect of forgiveness from another?

Whereas I get labelled as the guy with BGR problem?
*
Sadly, this is the principle of sowing and reaping in action.

When we have moaned and groaned about our Boy Girl Relationship problems in so many places, we can't blame people for labeling us as such.

What i am saying is this...there are a lot of people in this world that make mistakes in life...some drug addicts, some prostituts, some murderers. Am I to say, just because i made one mistake...of moaning and groaning, i forever lost the frenship n respect of you guys here?

How are you going to have mercy for the people worst than me, if you just like treat me like this?

Or i can just destroy this account...thank goodness I didn't personally meet any one of you, or else the worst memory of you guys got of me, is still etched in your minds.

Those who are going through bad times, evil times, let me encourage you, you're being exposed on purpose by God for training to greater Glory.
It is something that is beyond your ability to withstand with dignity. It is expose on purpose so that it drives you to the Lord for dependency in trust, comfort and strength.

You are loved by the Lord.

This is the admonition from the Lord I get in the spirit.

Take comfort Bro n Sis.

UW sharing leaves much for us to process.

I agree with much of it.

But I want to share the other side of the story.

While it is true God will never forsake us or abandon us, we have to take care that WE do not leave God.

The Christian life is one of constant surrender to the Holy Spirit and one of constantly abiding in the True Vine, Jesus Christ.

We will be constantly pruned so that we will bear more fruit.
John 15:1-17 is a difficult passage to read.

We must remember it is not by our Effort that we bear fruit but by our Surrender to God and abiding in His presence that we bear fruit. This is what is emphasized by UW.

It is when we refuse to yield and insist on our own way , that we are in danger of falling away.

is it even possible?

Yes

consider Hebrews 6:4-6

For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt.

and

Hebrews 10:26-28

For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses.

So then, on one hand, we have the free gift of Grace and salvation through Faith. On the other hand is continual abiding in Christ that ensures our salvation.

This is why we say Grace may be free, but it is not cheap.
the price required from us is quoted in Romans 12:1

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

Which brings us to the reason why Jesus says in Matt 7:13-14, because many will refuse to continue following God.

Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. 14"For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Enough for now.

have a good rest and enjoy worshiping God tomorrow!

Good Morning Folks!

I want to continue where I left off yesterday.

Abiding in God is not a difficult process. It only becomes difficult when we choose not to believe God always has the best for us in mind.

We will encounter situations when we need to say yes to God and no to self desires and it is these times that abiding becomes hard.

Some issues may be small issues, which is what often happens, eg. Will you spend the next 15 mins with God instead of DOTA or candy crush? ( you feel the Spirit asking)

Some issues are moderate. Eg giving to mission instead of buying a new mobile phone.

One a while a biggie will come.
One that you can compare to Abraham being asked to give up Isaac.

Note in all these, you will feel the Holy Spirit prompting, but you will never be forced to obey.

God is a good God, He always bring us gently through a process of growth, and He will never present a trial where we cannot overcome if we really want to.

Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. (‭I Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭12-13‬ NKJV)

We can complain, why, why, why?!, but we will come through if we persist in trusting God and saying yes to Him.

Paul gave an excellent example of our walk with God, comparing it with an athlete's training.

Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified. (‭I Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭24-27‬ NKJV)

How then do we train?

We actually learnt this in Sunday school.

Read your bible, pray everyday. That's it.

No branch needs to struggle on its own to bear fruit.
It bears fruit simply by drawing nutrients from the vine as it abides, and the DNA of the vine will cause fruit to be produced in the branch.

Talking about Sunday school, it's time to get ready for church.

Bro. UW,

I have mentioned earlier that "there are 7 billion people on earth and I dare say there are 7 billion viewpoints on God."

Interpreting scripture is no different. You are just more generous in your interpretations than I am.

You are right, there is no point arguing.
I hold to the view that as long as our basic belief in Christ is correct, all the others is supplementary.

I will just share whenever I feel led to.

Cheers and God bless.

I'm so depressed and lost weight because I'm not eating regularly.

But I believed that our Father in heaven will give us encouragement to face further trial and tribulations.

Good morning Folks

something I received and I think I should pass on

Message from Pastor Khim Ang, Senior Pastor, River of Life Sanctuary

Church, last Wed a French Armenian prophet, Pr. Samuel Organnesyant came all the way to Malaysia for the first time. He warned:
1. The Malaysian churches to WAKE UP! They are too occupied with making money, status, materialism, self interest, lukewarmness etc.
2. There is no gray area but only two choices... Bloodshed or Revival.
3. Malaysia will be islamized with radical Islam and many will be killed.
4. Churches will be destroyed and Christians killed.
5. If Christians will repent and cry to the Lord, fast and pray earnestly, He can intervene and then revival will come.
6. God wants a people of power moving in miracles signs and wonders. Willing to pay the price. Where are they? Where are they?
7. Your prayer meetings and prayer conferences need to be powerful, not talk, talk, talk.! Worship, pray, worship, pray!! Call all to come and pray. Cry out! Get back the fire or else perish.!
8. Go tell the Church in Malaysia. I have come to bring this urgent message to Malaysia from the Lord. Choose - Revival or Bloodshed!
9. God says you must work to get at least 15% of those still in darkness to come to His Kingdom before the land can be transformed. With His empowering you can do it! Not by might, not by power but by My Spirit says the Lord.
I am passing this Word that was given last Wed. from this Armenian French prophet. He asked that the churches are to be warned and so I am just doing that.
God have mercy on us all.

Until today, all these prophecies came true. His childhood and youth pastor Norayr Samuel

Long before his birth, the Lord began its work in this family. Thus, in the Soviet Union his grandmother was a member of one of the first Pentecostal churches in Armenia. She often spoke with his mother, which was closed to the Word of God, as long as God did not save her son supernatural way. Before the birth of Norayr Samuel, his sister at a very early age die from a serious illness. 2 years after her death, his mother becomes pregnant again. Before she knew it, there is a meeting with a man of God, who told her that she is in the womb of the boy and the boy should be called to the Lord and Samuel, as did Anna in the Bible. While his mother was not hristyankoy, so she did not believe all the above. But as soon as she learned of her pregnancy, she decides to call her son Samuel. His father was against it, but she did not want to talk about this meeting because she was afraid of his reaction. His father insisted on behalf of Norayr and eventually the name of Samuel all forgotten.

Almost immediately after the birth of a boy, he was sick with the same disease as the older sister and is near death. Seeing her dying child, the mother left the room where he was, and cried out to the Lord. She gave this promise to God: "Lord, forgive me, I do not accept you. I believe that you really exist and beg you for the salvation of my child, I give it to you, and I promise that my son and I will follow you for life. " During this prayer, the mother was baptized in the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues. Not having any idea about this phenomenon, she was scared and thought that has gone mad from his grief. At the same moment, the baby came to himself and began to cry. So God miraculously saved him.

Norayr Ogannesyants repented himself at an early age. Even as a child the Lord began to use it in the service. He prayed for the sick. He fiction quiet child, so if someone of his friends did not accept Jesus, he beat them for it, which led many to repentance. In 17 years, to continue his studies, he moved to Novosibirsk (Russia). For seventeen teen live in another country, one was not easy. Although sometimes he went to church, the world is still influenced his relationship with God and began to seduce him more and more. Until, one day God, once again, did not save his life. Then, finally giving up worldly life, he promised God to follow Him. He decided to gain a foothold in the church to grow spiritually and learn. Later, Pastor Samuel Norayr continued his theological education at the Institute «ZOE».

In 1995, he received the word of God that will missionary in Europe. It took 7 years, during which time, God was preparing him for a future mission.

Start of missionary service

in 2002 26ti summer missionary went to Spain, planning to later move to France, as it was her God have to begin his mission. While in Spain, he always prayed and fasted for Europe. So, after five months from 35 euros in his pocket, he moved to France in Marseille. First time stay in France was very difficult because of ignorance of the French language. It seemed that everything was against him. To all existing difficulties also add rapid deterioration of his vision. The devil kept saying: "Go back to Russia until the blind !!!". But faith in what God has promised will take place, constantly strengthen it. He decided, no matter what, stay until the end.
Soon, he had an operation on his eyes, the results of which amazed doctors. They later admitted that in 30 years of practice, they have not seen similar results. In 2003, the church was formed "Fire of Awakening." Among the first members were former drug addict, a former gangster, depressed woman and others. Some of them met Pastor Norayr in accommodation for the homeless, where he was living temporarily in order to evangelize. Months spent in this inn, was unbearable, but he knew he had to pay the price for this city. Coming out, he had already command.
Currently, a church of about 10 different nationalities.
In 2008, was written and published his book "Father. Son and Holy Spirit. " In the near future will be published several other books.
Family.
In 2005 Norair Ogannesyantts married today, along with the pastor suprogoy Ariana, they serve God. They have three children: sons of Samuel (born 2007), Joshua Elias (2012 born) and daughter Cindy Arielli (2009 born in)

Actually, we are broadcasting the gospel in our everyday life, at least our version of it.

People are more interested in how we live our life than what we say.

So our friends may say they don't want to hear the gospel, but they are hearing it all the same through our lives.
