Pets wonderland hamsters are expensive coz they are imported from Holland... so you cannot compare local hamsters and imported hamsters.

Red eye, you got dwarf of syrian? If Syrian, never have 1 pair or they can fight very badly.

all sifuu, wahlaoo, hammy also hv black market ah but rm5.5 really cheap just now i gave some tissue paper to my mimi to play, but i realize she ate ..... but later she .... out the tissue paper, so ... and i notice she like "kua chi" a lot, = sunflower seed, and corn as well, how about alfafa for hammy? i didnt try out yet, dont know they like it or not, this saturday wil go n buy some for them to try, hope they like it

way too cheap la... did u ask the pet store owner how old is the hammy? iz the RM5.50 just for that particular hamster or all hamsters same price? If just the hamster, maybe he/she old aleady & waiting to die one - just my 2 cents thought

Sunflower seeds are okay but you should give hams a good mix of food, like seeds, grains, and the occasional fruity treats. They like honeydew, apples, pears, whatever that's not citrus-based like oranges and lemons. ;_;

lol. i got my mottled for Rm6!! but that was bcoz the boss know me ma...so discount...if normal price is RM8-9.

Actually, the price of RM5.00/per hamster is normal here..meaning in UPM because we have the veterinary faculty. Actually the Hamster is for study purpose and not for pets..but i dont know if now they still selling the hammy for that price or not..

All Pets lover dun be mad aaaa....it is for studying purpose especially in sex study (sperm) and the hammy will be killed after the study.

And one more thing, they only selling in bulk

RM5 is normal if bought in bulk.... but single hamster RM5 kinda too cheap....

IN other states I know the price very cheap.... Penang RM8 only... but KL, rarely go below RM8 loh.... this kinda cheap price would make more people get hamsters but also without proper knowledge, they may never realize that a hamster can breed non stop. This is why for pet, it shouldn't be priced so cheap. I bet some would even buy for their snakes to makan...

wat to do, its the food chain but I really oppose giving hammies to snakes. These pet snakes should be given the big, furious bandaraya rats... then these snakes become 'snake food' for the rats

It's a mottled campbell. It's not mix breed, you can't really tell for campbells but their genetics is already a mess in malaysia. So it's a mottled campbell. Period.

it had been a couple of years & I still couldn't find any white face robo locally... If any forumer knows any home breeder has this variant of robo, pls pm me

ya lar, s'pore got but too busy now to go back to s'pore. all my relatives there petting cats + birds, but not hamster or else can ask them to smuggle for me

I wonder..my hammies are weird...they cant get along until now.Once,i let both of them out ,at first,they sniff and then starts biting each other.The small one will be defeated knockout.Keep eekeekeekeek and the big one like 'im not done with you yet..come on!come on!'
Does colour matter to hamster? I mean both are male WW but different colour.
Oh..btw..my hammy is always yawning.Sooo cuteee!And both are getting chubbier,once,the big one was sleeping on the wheely and because was too fat,it fell of the wheely but still sleeping

Im having finals for one month and having my hammies in my room..i wont study.If i put food and drinks and keep them away,next room.after a month only i play with them again.Will they turn aggressive?
