Yeah, read yesterday that ZU will be getting Android 5.1 update sometime in July/August.

Google it up. The star means something like priority notifications only. New feature in 5.0. Depending on your settings, you might not get notified of calls and sms. Check your settings.

Guys, all of a sudden yesterday my ZU started to get huge battery drain issue. I didn't install anything new (except for 1 game which I haven't even opened or played), and my usage habits are the same. Now my ZU can drain from 100% to 0% in less than 5 hours with very minimal use! I'm getting 1 hour or so of SOT only plus the phone gets very hot when it's doing nothing idle in my bag.

I check battery consumption and the one thing I noticed is that Google Play services is on top of the list instead of 'screen'. Basically it's keeping my phone awake & CPU running all the time.

And I also noticed that Google Photos backup has problem syncing to their servers for the past few days. Hmmm.

I have rebooted the phone many times but still the issue persists. I'm not rooted so there's nothing else I think I can do. Running Lolli.

Frustrated now bcuz before this my ZU can last 18 hours and 4 hours of SOT

Anyone experienced the same thing?

I'm gonna save that for last. Would be a hassle to backup and then restore all my data.

I've uninstalled Google Photos and turned off photo backup but am unable to uninstall Google Plus, as it's preinstalled. The problem is still there.

Yup, same here. I'm on MY CDA now and still no notification to update to .270. My dad's ZU on HK CDA already updated to .270 about 2 weeks ago.

Why? Report from my dad says his phone is a bit sluggish after .270. Not sure but it could be due to his bloated apps, settings etc.

I've just received a notification to update to .270 firmware just now. I'm on MY CDA. Update size is about 12 MB. Will check the changelog first before updating.

On my end nothing much. The close all button in the recent apps screen sure is handy though. ZU feels a tiny bit sluggish than before but it could just be my imagination.
