I like Axia's stability at highspeed the most, secondly the FC, single trip to Penang only cost RM38+ for current petrol price,
if you get that divided by 2 person, it is less than RM20, that is cheaper than any bus tickets smile.gif (of coz there's the toll to pay tongue.gif )

Btw, I saw one red Axia Adv that day, speeding at least 140km/h or more i think.

Things about using bigger pores (high flow) air filter is, there is a risk of sand enter the intake.
It may increase throttle response during low rpm, since it able to suck more air, but i think no significant gain in performance when on dyno.
Because the computer already adjust how many fuel needed for any air ratio. Unlike aftermarket exhaust, which removes unnecessary restriction to the exhaust gas. More room for air to come out, means more power able to generate for same duration of time.

I used to ride a bike before, a suzuki dohc engine. after using open pod type filter, the piston cepat kotor. Since axia using fully sintetic aka expensive oil to run, quite rugi la if u allow more contaminants enter the engine..
i suggest that only change to high flow air filter if you know the risk.
*
blink.gif blink.gif OMG Really ??

I don't know about this, but I have searched the Works Engineering / K&N air filter before buying, and all stated that this type of filter is more dust absorbing than normal paper filter.

If it really allows more dust / fine dust to the combustion chamber, then it is really not good for the engine.

less restrictive means less filtration, correct?
paper filter maybe not provide good flow during low  rpm, due to lower vacuum pressure cannot really overcome the paper "walls", but at high rpm, the paper are designed to provide enough airflow for the engine, even if u put most expensive filter also power still the same..

so during your 10000km inspection, will u still pay for the filter change at sc?
i am telling this because i scared there are user suka suka change without knowing the risk, orang tukar, dia tukar juga..
well thats their money, but like the aircond hose modification, i can keep it to myself, but i share it here for free so that we all take good care of our car..

nice read regarding filters

Thanks for sharing smile.gif

According to the service schedule For 10k service, they didn't change the air filter right ? They only change it on 40k.

Yeah something wrong with the compressor. It is too cold even at lowest setting tongue.gif.

I always joke and say, they must have installed the wrong compressor for me, installed the Myvi one. laugh.gif laugh.gif

Hi bro, can you briefly tell how to open the rear door panel for Axia ? There is something vibrating inside my rear left door panel, suspect is wire knocking the plastic panel.
Think wanna open the panel to fix it.

Total how many screw to unlock ? I only found one screw in the door handle.

Thanks.

Rattling sound on door maybe caused by the lock, try closed your door, and push it from outside and see whether it makes the noise.

Mine was on the front left, I sent to SC and they change the lockset.

now have another rattling sound on rear left, but this time I suspect is something knocking on the plastic panel from inside.

My gosh today i heard rattling sound from the back but i dont know from where O.O anyone facing this and any solution?
*
Maybe is from the door, is it rattling only when on bumpy roads ?

Try knock on the door plastic part by part and see if you can get back the sound.
Better still, get someone to drive the car, while u can check and inspect the back while the car is moving.

I read someone here say 36 Psi would hurt the absorber, and cause the interior plastic rattles faster (since it is more bumpy), I pump 33 Psi only now for all four tires.
FC still more or less the same for me.

But isn't that like the recommended pressure, 36PSI/250kPa?
*
yes as per the Axia manual and door stickers, it is 36,
but if we look at Myvi, which is using the same tyre size, recommended is only 31, because Myvi is heavier ?

Weekend DIY success! Installed touch screen HU and reverse camera.

The DIY journey really is mix of bitter & sweet sweat.gif rclxub.gif blink.gif laugh.gif

Will try post some pic tomorrow morning.

Btw, this week fuel report, been driving till blinking on last bar, filled up 25 little.
Average FC this week is 18km/l. Very good FC i think, since the week was full with extra city jam and slow drive.

How did you guys do the fuel usage per litre? Is it being shown on the meter? Sry noob.. Coz i only see how many km my car has gone..

Any screenshot is highly appreciated. Do we need to press special button or anything? Referring to axia advance model..
*
Press the stick button on the meter, it will switch from menu to menu. You can see there is one is with AVG KM/L something like that. Once you on that screen, press and hold the button to reset the counter.

Reset works on AVG KM/L, Trip, and also Service (10k KM counter)

E Spec doesn't have AVG KM/L btw..

👍 i can only imagine it will be a whole lot better than stock HU.  How many hours of DIY? Mine still no time to continue 😭
*
The actual installation actually take less than 2 hours, but I was exploring here and there for the car wiring (for next project maybe rolleyes.gif ), testing and experiments alot.

The radio quality is instant upgraded, no more noise for listening to radio station.
And with customizable EQ, now only I realize the stock speakers' quality are actually quite good laugh.gif

Got my car 2 weeks ago and realize the radio is really fuzzy and even on my FM Modulator. Anyone got the same problem and managed to fixed it at Service Centre?. Dont really have the budget to change the audio system now  sweat.gif
*
Same here, for me there is certain frequency which is really bad. If you use FM modulator, try set the frequency to 101.xx or above, it may get clearer.

After I change the HU, all frequency is clear now, so I guess it is the stock HU FM signal processing not that good.
