Not necessary true, i went to one in kepong, the one near menjalara, it's own by Perodua but they also ask me to install the magnet trap.
Then for the 6 month service, I went to Glenmarie SC, they also put the gear up comfort with me without telling me.

GearUp comfort for the hood and doors? that cost about RM400+ right ??

one of my car's tire valves came off, i think it happened when i was driving as i heard a loud sound.

nothing dangerous will happen right? like the air won't simply leak? colleagues told me to just get the small thing from tire shop for free.
*
or just buy at Mr.DIY, stainless cap with colors, less than RM5 if I am not mistaken.

No air wont leak unless you press the valve, but wondering why the cap goes off with a loud sound.. air pressure pushing the cap off ?

Hey guys. I know this is silly question. But, i wanna know when do we need to press the button at the gear knob when changing gear on auto car?

U know there is a button on the gear knob rite? When to press it? Because i read somewhere, we need to press when we change gear from P-R-N.. then from N-D-3-2 we dont have to press the button. I ask my friend, some even dont press the button at all when changing gear. Just pull and push the gear knob as they like.

So, when is the correct time to press the button during gear changing?
*
you can check the manual, there is a section explaining the gear knob button.

As I remember, P->R, R->N, N->R, 3->2 all required button.

N->D, D->N, D->3, not required button.

However mostly of the time I press the button, so it works for all gear.

Floor n luggage lighting. If outside shop offer at cheaper price, i would like to install it but need to think about warranty.
*
I am now waiting my cabin floor lighting DIY from my supplier. Plug & Play to 12V socket, with on off switch & color changing with wireless remote, and price is definitely less than that.

After I install it on my Axia, will share the pics & videos. There is no wire cutting if you just plug into the 12V socket, so warranty no issue.

However if you want it to be more complicated, like auto light up when on headlight, or when open door, all this need to tap wire (still no wire cutting & reversible) for that purpose.

For the boot / luggage light, need to tap wire / fuse box as it will be more useful to be able to switch on the light without the engine started.

planning a long trip this coming weekend

may i ask

how long should i drive before giving my axia-zai a rest?
*
New cars shouldn't have much problem on this, just make sure radiator coolant level is enough, tyre pressures etc.

I once try drive & jam for 7 hours non-stop, the car still feel the same.
However I always let the engine run idle for few minutes before I switch it off after long journey.

air filter yes very easy to change.
but for 4in1, i think it a bit complicated.
i hope shorty5 can provide the link of tutorial video on how to remove the 4in1.
in case want to go SC later, can remove temporary right.
*
Check back first page, there are some photos I have taken for the installation of 4in1.

Hi,

For the 4-In-1, can we disable the automatic folding ah? i just not feel needed to fold it every time.
I saw some 2+1, so that you can also have the double signaling, is that achievable? anyone have experience can share?
*
If you don't like the auto-fold, just don't plug the side mirror switch there, other function of the 4in1 will still work.

Try polish it first and then use those touch up paint, can be found in AEON stores. It won't recover to 100%, but at least 80% and not that obvious when see from far.

My car, especially hood and bumper have numbers of stone chips and tar mark, thing like this are hard to avoid especially you drive highway / long journey often.

Just enjoy the ride thumbup.gif

Added you to the list, welcome thumbup.gif

Yea I got both issues as well. Already sent to SC to fix the door last time, now still have abit noise, but not that frequently compared to last time.

About the dashboard, my friend has the same issue, he sent to SC to fix, the SC say they glue / gam / fix, but in the end still have noise. I try to fix myself many times, the noise on & off keep coming back, till now I have given up on it sweat.gif sweat.gif

Inspection you can send 4k+ or 5k+, or 3months if it comes first. First time just inspection on the few areas, no oil change etc.

hi guys,

I spilled some battery acid into my axia car boot yesterday. Any suggestion? Do I need to replace the boot carpet?
*
Better take out the carpet and wash it.

The problem is the liquid soaked in the plywood under the carpet. The plywood starts to deform already.

Man I just got my car for 2 months.. so sad.. Is it possible to get a replacement part? I heard that acid will reactivate once the moisture level is high enough
*
Oh gosh, then better take out the plywood as well, other acid may corrode the spare tyre and boot chassis as well.
Not really sure about replacement part, but maybe car accessories shop can cut the plywood for you, not sure the price.
