I started with CA/CL before moving on to DD. The only reason why I played BB thereafter was because of those ARP missions and I found myself enjoying the ARP Kongo. While I still think playing CV is like playing RTS, who knows. Maybe I would enjoy CVs when the day comes. Currently though, I am thoroughly enjoying the Scharnhorst!

IMO both of them quite fun to play, its depend on your tea cup.

If you wanna start to play DD, USN is the better choice - better concealment and fire range. Clemson & Nicholas quite fun to play , especially on low and mid tier battle - both of them have very good concealment (put camo on the ship for more better ninja, its worth).
Tier 4 captain skill is quite enough to play this DD line (put secondary advance fire training for extra range, so you can shoot in ninja vanish mode when inside the smoke).
Remember to move along the island for extra concealment, don't put urself in open water unless u have another DD as ur backup.
Normally DD player is the one who help ur team to "GROW BALLS" to his team - yeah most all of time DD player will die in the game so its normal, so learn how to use WASD hack, speed, and predict the enemy torpedoes come from enemy DD. Remember to drive ur DD like drifting racing car. I mean it.

As for CV, you can pick both of the line (IJN or USN). Playing CV is quite a bit complex since it have variety type on it - rather you wanna pick air dogfight mode squadron - means more fighter plane; or bomber carrier squadron - means you have more torps and bomber plane.

I'm play both of them, but if you want extra plane to dogfight & plane endurance, go get urself USN line.
IJN line has better concealment and service time - due the IJN CV carries less plane compare USN CV.

For starter, train while farming ur captain until it reach tier 3 captain skill. Just pick plane service and side arm for ur plane in captain skill. Try use manual drop on torps plane and learn how to use timing when u want to release the torps, expecially when you targeting DD ships, since their move fast.
Remember not to release the torps to close to enemy when targeting ships or ur torps - if you play cruiser or DD you will understand why ur torps ain't hit even u too close to the enemy ships (If you want understand what I'm telling you, better you find it urself).
As for bomber, you can use auto drop for it, just make sure you adjust the target (the oval look area drop) before the plane want to drop their bomb. USN CV line has better bomber squadron since the target drop more smaller, which is better.
Last but not lease, don't be static and keep ur cv moving.

Too be honest I'm enjoying play all type of ships in the game (from cruiser ---> battleships ---> Destroyer ---> Aircraft Carrier).
Took me 3 month to understanding the mechanic of the game. I'm also like you, been taste defeat everytime when playing - I'm just got 15% win rate in battle back then. So I'm focus on Co-Op battle and train my aim and skill; at the same time farm as much exp and credit I can. Right now I'm feel happy with my achievement although it took me some time recover it back.

i only thinking of playing DD and CV cause the shortcoming of recent ARP mission that made DD and CV better suited than CL and BB

but DD and CV are not my thing as i like brawl and pounding targets more than sneaky play
and yes the reason i dont play CV is cause i dont like to play RTS in a shooting game like richards said

playing DD is like playing miniaturized cruisers plus smoke and vanishing act
it's the CV that's totally unknown to me
oh and i have watched somewhere that torpedoes takes time to arm, thanks for reminding me
gonna have to try out in co-op games first before going random

anyway with ARP mission over (until ARP nachi comes along next), i can slowly make my way to KMS BBs, IJN DD and CV slowly
don't know how to distribute my time cause i only can play few games per night

or you just like shooting DDs and Cls more than brawling with BBs

Nope, I don't have second account. 1 account is enough for me. The reason you see my my stat less play PVP because I'm farming and play PVE often - farming captain exp (need captain lvl 5 tier skill) & ship exp for module research. It more faster & I got plenty credit from PVE compare to PVP. Just play 3-6 match in PVP (random battle) then back to farm with Co-Op battle (PVE).
Besides I'm more enjoy fast game.


Right now I'm try getting LVL 5 tier skill for my DD captain, by using this s**cker that I bough yesterday. Not interested with "Shiny-Horst". My derpitz is enough.


Love my new sub machine-gun just now, burning helpless ship. Far easier farming credit compare to Tirpitz.

BTW, testing my new GTX1070 on my new rig with SweetFX setup.

Please be aware the Dunkerque only have 2 turrets in front. If you need to run from the enemy, have to gostan only or you cannot fire at them

Dunkerque tactic charge front while shoot (if too many enemy ship infront) reverse back while shoot..
this is only tactic i can think off

Testing few round on PvE
Not bad I can say.. I need up my captain skill to get more skill

I don't have purchase premium BB, but I get it from each tier BB ship and some mission event BB ship, like to shot at all type of enemy ship

I'm using my 16-point Hindenberg captain on her now.

i was thinking to transfer my tier 7 german cruiser captain to my premium BB..
or do hard way train captain haha

I have two other German Captains, a 11-point and a 12-point, currently on my Nurnberg and Hipper respectively. FYI, transferring captains to premium ships no need to "re-train"
