Funny also offering maybank2card platinum. said was pre approved and will deliver card to home in 14 days. irony they didnt ask for income tax , epf etc just said since my salary is via maybank no need any further documents.

I find it hard to believe but will wait and see.

if he had all the information about you..what he can scam you?
did the person ask any extra information from you? or did the person just ask your consent of accepting the offer?

Maybe im being paranoid, i have been burned badly thru identity theft once. who remembers Southern Bank "direct Access". Took me 2 years and all the running around to clear my name from ctos , lawyers etc. In the end i still have to pay off the debt.

so i just want to be careful.

This is common if you are using maybank account to receive your salary. i myself applied the m2c without needing to provide anything at all. they just look at my account and ensure the salary is enough to apply for platinum card. received my card within 4 working days. and they're all through phone.

after see how 'successful' My TP project, My bro applied also, he just been informed by MBB that he card approved, but the problem is, the approved maybank visa ikhwan cc. (He request specifically for MBB2card). Any advice on how to deal with this?

Admin fee is referring foreign currency conversion to MYR.

If I am not using Ikhwan, I will not accept it since I did not apply for it. But that is just me.

You need to check with customer service whether it is possible to convert or not as they are not having the same credit limit and considered as different entity (islamic banking).
