Wonder this can be clasified as ecommerce? If yes then use CIMB CB Plat to get rm30 CB &  PBB VS rm60. Watami rm150, MBB AmexPlat rm50.
*
Just too bad I don't have other cards.
My option is only pay it for 9 months.

That's even a better choice if can opt for installment. Then can use the best CB cards for this purpose, either PBB VS or MBB AmexPlat.
*
But with MBB, installment plan are not wise as this month's 7th is weekend, next month's 7th is weekday.

Then, can we use credit card to buy cash vouchers or gift card n max out the cash rebates by 1st week of the month n go buy big items n refund back to cash? Like this if works, I ll apply all credit cards come with rebates n ll make money with every cards. Will use my father mother brother sister name to apply cards too.....brows.gif
*
Basically those big items(I assume they are TV, fridge) I can get cheaper by 10% from outside electrical shops laugh.gif
But if you are a family man with babies, it may work for milk powders, since they are quite costly also.
Just last month I bought 10 tins of Snow milk powder with each rm72.9 from 99 speedmart.

AeonBig, Tesco, Giant or Aeon are quite popular with price at rack are different at cashier. This is the best excuse to be used thumbup.gif

Too much refund abuse they will follow AEON's footstep, no refund for Electrical goods.

Electrical goods in Aeon are much more expensive. Groceries are easier icon_idea.gif

when we pay bill on9 via m2u, can we select to pay bill with CC rather than out saving acc?
*
You need to call card center to unblock your card. If you are planning to buy from ebay, you may ask for 1 week extension period for online transaction.

I were blocked on first use, call maybank and ask them not to block any future payment to Paypal and no problem after that, for years. The risk in on you, anyway, dispute can be done from both paypal and maybank.
*
You are right on this, and to make it sweet, it is always in favor to us.
But is the dispute process that make us suffer.

i called up Maybank earlier on this matter and they say they can't do it for security purposes. I have to call them up whenever my AMEX gets denied, then go through the process of unblocking and then make payment all over again.
*
You may call CS upfront on the payment you want to make. This is what I'm doing now.
I already have a Paypal account but no credit card attached to it. Before I do any purchase, I'll the AMEX in after I call the CS to unblock my card for a week and type of transaction and the amount involved. I need 1 week as I need the verification code that taking 1-3 days to posted and refund back to Paypal. Once my paypal account are fully "active", then I buy and pay.
Once done, I'll remove the card from paypal.

wow! i definitely can't do the link-unlink cc to paypal all the time as I buy my stuff online most of the time and going through paypal 70% of the time.

i may try again call maybank for the 1 week/ month duration for all AMEX payment going through paypal and see if that works out. if not, I'll just go through the manual way. sweat.gif
*
Well, if you are going to buy in regular basis, just unblock it for few days to a week can do. No need to remove the card from system.
I'm doing this since not all the time I'm doing online shopping especially current weak rm.

i wonder anyone here able to waive the gst for this card before? =)
*
1st year yes. Not 2nd year onward as you can use the TP to do the job. But 400TP = rm1, so you need to spend more cry.gif
But think it on the bright side, if you spend using cash, you get nothing. Spending using dual card(especially on AMEX more), you get cash back and TPs. I'm taking actual cash back as rm550 a year tongue.gif

mbb2cards can get gst waiver for the first year last time? some more gst waiver was stated in the t&c before?

1) instead of gst waiver stated in t&c, is it some kind of cashback campaign (with t&c) that time which can be used to offset the gst rm50?
2) or perhaps you mistaken with another cc (not mbb2cards)?

i never heard of mbb2cards can get gst waiver before, not to mention that gst waiver stated in t&c was totally illegal. maybe should summon fruitie who is also one of the earliest who signed up mbb2cards, to test her memory regarding this gst waiver thingy in t&c.
*
Nope, my bad. Is not on the T&C, more on promotion.
