I were blocked on first use, call maybank and ask them not to block any future payment to Paypal and no problem after that, for years. The risk in on you, anyway, dispute can be done from both paypal and maybank.

i called up Maybank earlier on this matter and they say they can't do it for security purposes. I have to call them up whenever my AMEX gets denied, then go through the process of unblocking and then make payment all over again.

wow! i definitely can't do the link-unlink cc to paypal all the time as I buy my stuff online most of the time and going through paypal 70% of the time.

i may try again call maybank for the 1 week/ month duration for all AMEX payment going through paypal and see if that works out. if not, I'll just go through the manual way.

mbb2cards can get gst waiver for the first year last time? some more gst waiver was stated in the t&c before?

1) instead of gst waiver stated in t&c, is it some kind of cashback campaign (with t&c) that time which can be used to offset the gst rm50?
2) or perhaps you mistaken with another cc (not mbb2cards)?

i never heard of mbb2cards can get gst waiver before, not to mention that gst waiver stated in t&c was totally illegal. maybe should summon fruitie who is also one of the earliest who signed up mbb2cards, to test her memory regarding this gst waiver thingy in t&c.
