Why would WG give a Pz. III Ausf. J a non premium tank together with an invite code? That tank is now available for 69,000 credits (50% event discount) from the German tech tree.

It's given free for purchasing a package with the minimum equivalent value of 30,000 Gold. Good for 200 garage slots @ 50% discount or purchase many games on Steam during sales.

finally.. no need see my heeavies getting one shotted and die/ crippled

At first I thought it was a nerf to arty, but after a few match I realize actually WoT just made arty their ransom minions. Last time if you are too exposed you get hit by arty then understandable that you might choose to use repair for your own mistake.

Now the arty splash is so wide it hits you even if you are in cover, and since the radius of impact doesn't affect the chance of getting stun, you will most likely force to get stun every time it hits near you and you'll have to spam repair kit to get out of the situation.

I tried to test my theory by purposely playing my FV304 ..... and sure enough I kept so many ppl locked in place just by splashing near them. my FV304 rarely lock tanks (especially large ones) as consistent as what I did last few match since the update.

They need to fix this. Cause I see now a lot of choke points 1 arty can lock 3 - 4 tanks and force them to spend repair.

I think that is the point. You spend credits on repair kit until you don't really make money in game and have to buy gold or the premium tanks to make money. It really has become World Of Premium Tanks.

play tier 8. most of em are now filled with prem tanks matches with the new mm.

I'm now more relaxed without having to play WoT every day because my premium time has expired. Been trying out the 9.19 Common Test and it's IMO gonna get worse with the recent changes. I'm talking about Ranked battles with the addition of Improved Equipment and Directives bought using the second currency Bonds.











The only positive thing about ranked battles: Battle results do not affect your vehicle stats and no medals are awarded.



The recent SPG changes are in favor of the arty lovers... and SPGs now make a make a bigger difference in the ending of battles.

Pros: Quicker aim time, Faster reloading times, Extra experience points from Stun damage, Consistent damage from every shot.
Cons: SPGs can't defend by shotgunning enemy tanks reliably like the previous patches.

Just when you are down to your last few hit points in a thinly armored tank in a 1 vs 3 battle, an artillery shells sends you back to the garage.

I agree. If they indeed implements the improved equipment and directives to the Random Battle, the gap between players will be even worst.

As much as I hate to be stunned by arty nowadays, I find it more bearable compared to last time. At least it takes longer time to die if you get trapped by multiple arties.

And playing as arty now is more enjoyable too.
