Competitive Gaming and Esports November is packed with high-stakes esports action, including the culmination of current seasons and the biggest offline tournament of the year.
Onslaught and AMD Onslaught Legends Series (OLS): The current Onslaught season, known as the Season of the Azure Dragon, is ongoing and lasts until November 9. Players are competing for this year's main reward, the Ashbringer, which features a striking progressive 3D style with four versions, along with seasonal rewards like bonds and improved equipment. The AMD Onslaught Legends Series Season 4 will hold its grand finals on November 9. Teams will battle on both the European and American servers. Viewers can earn OLS Token Store Tokens via Twitch Drops, which may be redeemed for items including a Tier VIII Premium vehicle. The top two teams will receive the AMD Radeon RX 9070XT GPU.
World of Tanks Championship International (WCI): This is described as the biggest offline tournament of the year. The event is a live LAN competition held in China.

World of Tanks has scheduled a dense lineup of activities for December, headlined by the return of Holiday Ops and a month-long Advent Calendar.
Major December Events
Holiday Ops (Starts December 5): This year’s event features celebrity Ambassador Benedict Cumberbatch, who brings a unique set of Assignments to complete. Players collect resources from a ship to upgrade decoration zones and increase their Festive Atmosphere to unlock rewards.
Large Boxes: Returning in the same format as previous years, these boxes contain guaranteed gold, new 3D styles, and new Premium vehicles.
Advent Calendar (December 1–31): Players can log in daily to open a door and collect a reward. Missed rewards can be recovered using resources until January 12, 2026. Opening doors consistently may also yield bonus surprises like a Large Box.
Winter Raid (Starts December 11): This event returns with two new maps featuring capturable islands. Three teams compete for gift boxes, and completing the event progression earns rewards such as brand-new 3D attachments.
12 Days of Tankmas (December 3–14): A series of daily livestreams on the official Twitch channel featuring Mystery Drops with chances to receive Premium vehicles like the Type 63 or Vz. 68 Squall.
Historical Stream (December 12): Features tank museums worldwide and specific drops including Demounting Kits, a Large Box, and the VIII FV226 Contradictious.
AMD Winter Invitational (December 13–14): A tournament for EU and NA teams where the winning players receive AMD Ryzen 7 9700X processors.
Rewards and Earning Systems
Festive Token Store (December 1 – January 12): By watching World of Tanks Twitch streams, players earn Festive Tokens. These can be exchanged for rewards including:
Tier VIII Premium Vehicles: Such as the Strv 81 (100 tokens) and Object 274a (100 tokens).
Styles: The "Landkreuzer" (Maus) and "Hurricane" (Vz. 55) 3D styles, or 2D styles like "Panettone Parade".
Resources: Days of Premium Account, Personal Reserves, and consumables.
Earned 100 out of 120 Tokens but honestly, not much here for the veterans. It’s all stuff we’ve seen or earned a dozen times already.
Trailer Giveaway: To celebrate the Holiday Ops trailer, players who comment on the video with their username and the hashtag #HOps2026 by December 1 enter a draw for a Tier VIII XM57 and a postcard signed by Benedict Cumberbatch.
Charity and Creator Rewards:
"Aurora Borealis" 2D Style: Obtained by subscribing or gifting a subscription to a favorite streamer's Twitch channel.
Festive Crew Skins: Claimable through Twitch Drops starting December 22 by watching select creators.
Charity Streams: Scheduled for December 20, 21, and 29 to support organizations like Cancer Research UK and Scope.
Additionally, a "Well-Deserved Reward" with a "big surprise" is expected to be available soon as a token of gratitude for the community. World of Tanks is distributing a massive collection of in-game rewards to its player base in celebration of its fifteenth anniversary and the launch of update 2.0. These prizes include millions of credits, valuable premium currency, and fully researched vehicle branches that allow players to jump directly into high-tier combat. Veteran players who have remained active for over a decade receive specialized honors, such as the Tier VII Black Prince II heavy tank and exclusive legendary status.
Newcomers are also incentivized with starter packages containing multiple tanks and essential equipment to streamline their progression. The developers aim to commemorate the game's historical milestone and preparing the community for the transition into Tier XI gameplay. This initiative serves as a formal expression of gratitude to both long-term supporters and those just beginning their journey. These rewards are divided into three main categories: a free Tech Tree branch for everyone, the "Well-Deserved Reward 2025" based on years of service, and a second chance to claim the "Best of the 2.0 Gift".
1. Free Tech Tree Branch (Available for All) As a special thank-you for the 15th-anniversary year, every single commander, regardless of their rank or service record, can claim one full Tech Tree branch (Tiers VI–X).
Ready for Battle: The selected branch will appear in your Garage fully researched, purchased, and in its top configuration.
Tier XI Preparation: This gift is intended to help players get closer to the new Tier XI vehicles.
Time Limit: This specific claim is available only from December 3, 2025, until mid-January 2026 (when Update 2.1.1 launches).
2. Well-Deserved Reward 2025 These annual rewards are based on the year you joined the game.
The Black Prince II: Players with four or more years of service (Commander rank and above) receive this brand-new Tier VII British heavy tank. It features a unique double-gun system, reliable armor, and high damage per minute (DPM). Received mine.
Warrior Rank (1–3 Years): These players can choose one Tier V or VI vehicle from a selection including the KV-1SA, VK 28.01 105, Super Chaffee, or T-50-2.
Tokens: Ranks "Warrior" and above receive Tokens to be spent in a special in-game store. These can be exchanged for improved equipment, 3D styles (such as the "Kaiju" for the Type 5 Heavy or "Galahad" for the FV4005), bonds, and crew members.
World of Tanks Legends: A new category for players with over 15 years of service, who receive the largest reward package.
Redemption Period: Token redemption is open until November 2026.
3. Best of the 2.0 Gift Players who missed the massive update gift in September have a second chance to claim its highlights.
Seasoned Commanders: Those who joined before December 3, 2025, can claim one additional Tier VI–X branch, 10 million credits, 15,000 bonds, and 2,500 gold.
New Commanders: Players joining after December 3, 2025, can claim two Tech Tree branches, 6 million credits, and several Tier VI and VII Premium tanks (such as the Tiger 131 and IS-2 shielded).
Collector Rewards: If a player already owns every researchable Tier VI–X vehicle, they will automatically receive exclusive items like the "Outstanding Collector" badge and medal.
In total, new players can claim up to three full Tech Tree branches, while seasoned commanders can claim up to two.
Holiday Ops 2026 features the return of Large Boxes, available from December 5, 2024, to January 12, 2025. These boxes provide guaranteed in-game currency and resources alongside a variety of high-tier vehicles and customization items.
Guaranteed and Extra Rewards Every Large Box opened provides the following guaranteed rewards:
250 Gold.
150 Random Holiday Ops resources.
50 Box-specific resources (New Year, Christmas, Lunar/Oriental, or Magic).
Beyond these, boxes have an 85.94% chance to drop extra rewards, including 1, 3, or 7 days of WoT Premium Account, additional gold (up to 1,000), or up to 500,000 credits. Players may also receive unique standard decorations for their Village that are guaranteed not to repeat.
Featured Vehicles and Mechanics The 2026 event introduces six new high-tier vehicles, including Tier X special vehicles for the first time in Holiday Ops history.
Tier X Special Vehicles:
BZT–70 (Chinese Heavy): An assault tank with a massive 180 mm gun dealing 850 alpha damage.
Coccodrillo (Italian Medium): Features highly angled armor and a unique autoreloader that can also function like a cyclic gun.
Tier IX Premium Vehicles: The Projet Louis (French Light) with an 8-shell autoloader, the TBT (Czechoslovakian Heavy) with a two-shell autoloader, and the Jagdpanzer E 90 (German Tank Destroyer).
Tier VIII Premium Vehicle: The Stridsyxa (Swedish Medium), noted for its unusual layout and high mobility.
Low-Tier Premiums (Tier II–V): Includes the Cromwell Applique, T-115, Škoda T 15A, Rheinmetall Begleitwagen, and Renault R35/FCM 36.
Guaranteed Vehicle Mechanic: If you do not receive a high-tier vehicle (Tier VIII–X) after 49 boxes, the 50th box is guaranteed to drop one. This counter resets whenever a high-tier vehicle drops, and low-tier vehicles do not affect this timer. If you already own all available high-tier vehicles, you will receive gold compensation for any subsequent drops.
3D Styles and Attachments Large Boxes have a 5% drop chance for 3D styles and a 6% chance for 3D attachments.
New 3D Styles: Five new styles are available for the CS-63 ("Bazyliszek"), BZ-75 ("Coastguard"), Char Futur 4 ("Special Delivery"), Rheinmetall Panzerwagen ("Law of the Jungle"), and Kunze Panzer ("Polar Storm").
Returning Styles: Five popular styles from the previous year return, including "The Rod" for the Grille 15 and "The Tortoise" for the Tortoise.
3D Attachments: There are 15 brand-new attachments divided into three themed sets: Celestial (Chinese-themed), Aviation, and Biker. These drop in a random order but will not repeat until the entire collection is owned.
Bundles and Gifting Large Boxes are sold in bundles of various sizes, with larger bundles offering higher discounts (up to 40% for 240 boxes). Players can purchase specific box types to target specific resources or buy mixed bundles. Boxes can also be gifted to friends by selecting the "Purchase as gift" option during checkout. Opening these boxes is like unwrapping a series of nested holiday nesting dolls; while the outer shell always gives you the gold and resources you need to build your village, there is always the chance that the smallest doll inside is a massive Tier X steel beast.
Saving the best for last. I'm sitting on 241 Large Boxes and I’ve decided to wait until Sunday for the unboxing. Let’s see if those Tier X drops are actually real!
