rm149 now is inclusive tax already. meaning next time still rm149.

change tax name but value still same.

That was what I thought but TM call centre staff told me different story, which is what I just said.

there is a short video running on hypptv on gst.

after watching it, i am still not sure. seems to me either the english used was bad or it purposely does not want to highlight the bottomline - we will pay more.

the video kept saying "we keep prices same" and "gst included".

the video simply does NOT want to show the final bill figure u will be getting post gst.

so, i think what it means after all that disguise is: base price remains the same; gst is not price increase; will included in yr bill; we told u, ya?".

nothing we can do... just enjoy a laugh at the way they handle it...

it's their SOP la to confuse you and different people say different things, so just wait lo.

their pdf explanation is small and blur when zoomed in, really can't expect much la.

Funny thing happened, I was wondering why Twitch.tv was buffering at low speed (less than 3Mbps, laggy) with a WIRED connection.

Funny thing is wireless is buffering source quality just fine (>8Mbps, smooth) so I was like wha...? Even more funny is that youtube and everything else is loading just fine (>10Mbps).

Fixed the problem after I restart my computer. Well shes 6 years old so I think she needs a reboot once a while

PS: Before you scream at tm call center try to restart you pc first

I use to have the same issues with unifi routers.
After replacing with Asus routers it very stable with smooth constant speed.
Unifi router tends to cockup too frequently.

KJ Unifi (Internet + Telephone) died couple of minutes ago and restored just now.

Phone line engage tone so I know the line is dead, not completely but definitely not functioning. Changed to TM router (using tomato router, no internet) and still no internet so definitely problem on their end.

Its fixed now (was waiting on the helpline) and then its back again.

yes, i think they said that... but in a different way n intended to mean something else but had to be such that u don't get upset so quickly!

if i m right they said, at least on hypptv video:

"price remains the same" - that is true, the base price.

"gst included" - that is true also, it is NOW included on yr bill, an extra.

they never said what u use to pay, u still pay the same, did they?!!!

if that was the case, they wud hv said "vip5 rm149 after gst still rm149". they didn't say that.

this confusion... u can decide if it was bad english, or done on purpose.

so basically, now they earn more, since RM149 used to include tax.

so now for every RM149 customer, they earn extra around rm8?

time to buy tm share.
