QUOTE(ben_panced @ Jul 2 2015, 11:06 AM) Already? Right now I'm on unifi 10 with diamond pack for 200, if i upgrade to 30 do iI have to pay more? Your HyppTV package price doesn't change.Only your internet plan.Current VIP 10 is RM 199,new 30 is RM 169.I don't think it is called diamond pack.I assumed yours is RM199 (VIP10) + RM 50 (Mega Pack) - RM50 discount = RM 199 excluding GST new one RM169 (UniFi 30) + RM 50 (Mega Pack) = RM 219 excluding GST * your current discount will be discarded if u go for UniFi 30. QUOTE(ben_panced @ Jul 2 2015, 11:41 AM) Old TV pack with all.channels technically no need.u will be using the same equipment.they will only change ur speed profile on their side.Ooh didn't know that 30mbps is 169. Guess I have to wait until TM announce it officially. Anyway does TM have to come and change the equipment also? |

QUOTE(vankodoq @ Jul 2 2015, 03:21 PM) Hi all, I'm currently subscribing to TIME 100 Mbps Fibre package (the one with 100GB quota). I'm considering my option to move out to another apartment and I found out that one of the new apartment doesn't have TIME, but they have Unifi. TIME's realtime download rate is around 50-60 Mbps (using speedtest.net), do you guys think Unifi can have that kind of download rate? UniFi has new packages for consumer that offers 30Mbps and 50 Mbps download speed. But upload speed is not the same.If your new premise is FTTH u can go up to 50Mbps. else VDSL the max is 30Mbps. |

the most fortunate is people with existing VIP 5 / VIP 10 and VIP 20 without any hypptv packages.once the upgrade option is open in self care portal,u are paying less with free iptv.the downside is slower upload speed.

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Jul 15 2015, 03:21 AM) but it's not like they can instantly make their own fiber. i heard that sometime in 2015 tmnuts hsbb monopoly will end. does that means any isp can then use the hsbb network ? right now any ISP can use TM HSBB network as long they can pay the wholesale price to TM.Like Maxis,Celcom,Redtone and others are doing.not sure on the technical legal aspects surrounding other isps using the hsbb fiber network at that stage. also will the government okay republics entry ? cheaper faster broadband, whats not to like ? (oh wait, must protect monopolies If MyRepublic want to enter, there's no problem.Just pay to TM if they want to use the HSBB network. The correct issue right now is the wholesale price offered by TM is cheap for them.Because they need to sell it higher to consumer to get the profit. If they don't want, they need to deploy the infra by themselves that will incur higher cost, like what TIME is doing right now. |
