Nope. Longines uncle is a different level. If dress watch, most people buy the cartier homage pieces or those uninspiring flagships. I think the Master collection is also popular but very forgettable.

The LLD is superb but they didn't build much upon that after the few colour variation pieces they launched maybe 1-2 years ago. Hydroconquest is probably their best selling piece, its a darn solid diver but those are dime a dozen at that price point.

I have not really seen a GS especially with their new dials that don't impress me with the effort that is put in, coupled with the grammar of design it revolves around. Even the oldest GS looks pretty modern by its standards.

The only gripe I have is the pricing has begun to move uptrend as they try to further distinguish themselves from the Seiko brand. I am also not a big fan of the LEs that is intended to keep prices up and benefits only a handful of collectors. I am also not a fan of large dress pieces, and the SD are mostly around 40-41 which i feel is a tad too big and too thick to be elegant.

Just go shop around. BB36 is not exactly the hottest piece around, so got chance. The best AD is one that treats you the nicest, so it tends to be individual salesperson rather than the company because most ADs are same same more or less.
