Tqvm on the reply. Well noted on the tempered glass safety issue . however, the tempered glass is much more stronger than normal glass rite?how about clarity issue? Any problem using tempered glass?

normal glass vs tempered glass clarity wise i think not much difference. i think tempered glass more resistance to scratch.
but however i still advise against using tempered glass. perhaps you should do some internet studies or research about tempered glass as aquarium tank before going further

tempered glass crack easily if used as aquarium don't fall 4 the marketing trick, it will crack & shattered
if table is not flat, it cannot withstand bending
if sudden change of temperature, like air con directly on the aquarium
scratch in the glass whn u r cleaning normally happen, weaken the glass make it more prone 2 shattering
not mentioning all ur electric aquarium equipment is stored below ur aquarium, u might even get electrocuted
normally it is either cured glass (branded like ADA) or strengthen glass that made by few layers different kinds of glasses
cured glass
can withstand a little bit of bending & sudden temperature change
but its weak point is on the edge or side of the glass if u hit it there it will crack
i think u r looking 4 strengthen glass
it can withstand certain limit of weight and strength
its side and edge cannot be smoothen, u might cut urself if u r not careful whn cleaning, normally they use silicon 2 conceal it
but still prone 2 crack due to temperature change
normal glass or cured glass will do, strengthen glass is too expensive 2 consider normally custom made or super big size aquarium use those
last time my house uses tempered glass custom made aquarium 4 arowana, it cauz a lot of problems
