As you can see, the algae eaters will have plenty to munch on lmao.

No... this one is home desk betta tank.

Previously was office shrimp tank which was again nuked by disinfectants (for the second time) so now give up and keep guppies in the office

Love your betta. It'll be nice to put more plants in the future. Bettas love to have more places to hide and explore

No filter. The whole pond is meant to be filtered with the mass of valisneria in the middle, and the clumps of rotala and ludwigia by the sides.

And the algae lmao. I swear though, it does not look anywhere near as murky from the top.

And yes, that is my throne.

And does anyone know where they sell ludwigia sedoides in malaysia? A prettier looking floating plant I have not seen.

Ludwigia sedioides - I found some at Nilufar. Very pretty. This was like a month ago. Oh.. I forgot. Try Sungai Buloh. The guy though, tried to sell them to me along with a humongous pot. Said he wouldn't sell separately. It's a shop selling just pots... gosh I can't remember which lot though. Maybe you can sweet talk him into selling them to you. Am also looking for it.

If its the latter, thats really interesting. So many aquatic plants are grown emersed, I sometimes wonder if we could find something new for our tanks when browsing nurseries.

That's what i thought so, it doesn't looks like algae to me, but fungus more. Treating it with Hydrogen Peroxide, but time consuming.

Tzuen, I really think it looks more like diatoms than fungus....

Fungus tends to appear on wood, or something organic that they can feed off of.
