yea.. haha cats do have their own personality etc... so.. not all is the same..

some human is also lactose intolerance,, and yet.. cows milk is almost an everyday item for most ppl...

actually u dont need to crush, just soak it in warm water for few hours then mash it up nicely..

litter if got $$, silica still the better choice..

y u wana use pellet..

the problem with wood pellet and poo is the big pellets will come it contact with the poo and then very difficult for u to remove it,

so u hv to scoop a lot of pellet around the poo, and that is kinda wasteful.

and for the amount of pee, the result is a bucket of pinedust.... more work to do....

u will get the pine + cat pee smell..

when cat pee, more than 50% of the pee will flow down to the drawer, cos the pellet absorbtion rate is very slow.

so ppl usually use box without drawer. or u put a thin layer of pellet on the box below.

those maker will suggest u put a layer of absorbing sheet on the lower box which in fact is more messy n need to spend $$ on the sheet.

have u heard of cases - where ppl got their liver , kidney? jahanam becos they consume

some slimming product etc? cos the product contains ingredient that is hazardous...

so it is the same case here, people need to learn that they r responsible to find out what they eat

u go to drug store ask for headache pill, fler giv u some pills no label etc u brani consume? i guess some ppl will...

i suggest u better use spray, like frontline spray, spray the whole body, use both hands with gloves to massage

so it evenly distribute all over the cat body n tail, tht is the fastest way,

spot on drops will take long time to spread all over the body.

but people have to understand, alot of things can work, for this example here

alot of poison or pesticide can kill fleas...

and the pesticide have different classifications, and they have different side effects, some are very dangerous etc,

some are very cheap and have been banned by many countries, and they are very effective in killing a lot of living things,

for example carborufan or furadan (trade name)


All those flea/tick medications like Frontline etc etc... the active ingredient inside - ie the pesticide

it is not developed just to kill fleas or ticks on dogs or cats.

It is pesticide developed for the farming industry etc.

Fipronil - inside frontline is used as farm pesticide, Pesticide to kill termites etc.


The deadlier the pesticide the better it works, and it doesn't discriminate.

People use furadan to poison babi hutan to kill africa lions btw...

there are few different types of flea collars, have to find out how the collar release the chemical onto the body,

some are powdery type, some waxy type, some more high tech type...

if powdery type put inside the vacuum, the risk is blowing it out tru the exhaust into the air u breathe..

even if the vacuum has hepa filter, it might not filter too tiny particles..

U can give medicine by crushing it up, mix it with just the right amount of wet food, feed her, let her finish that portion, then only u feed more.
Wait til she is hungry, then only u feed her food with the medicine.

Flea, how close can u get to the cat, if u can get close enough, but u cant hold her,
u can buy frontline spray, but dont spray it on her, cos it will scare her, u pour put some of the solution and u pour
it behind the neck, or u can buy syringe from pharmacy, suck a bit out and drop on her skin at the back.
Spray often inside the box that they live, like once a week, the poison will adhere to her fur and kill the fleas once they get in contact.
Will take time.
The kittens u have to play with them so they will become human friendly when grow up.

Deworming, same as above like giving medication.

Neuter all 4. Once the kittens is old enough u can send the mother for neutering.
Once the kittens are over 2kg, u can send them for neutering.

Adult cat, put some food in the cat carrier, once they go in to eat, close it. and bring to the vet.
Tell vet is stray etc etc.

If u r from klang valley, I can pm u details 2 clinics that deal with stray cat neutering. Their cost is cheaper than the usual clinic.
And they have experience dealing with not so human friendly stray cats.

cat food dry like friskies etc, u can soak it in water, aft few hours mash it up abit. dont make it too watery like bubur, cos too much water, the kitten dont get enough food.
for kitten choose kibbles tht r smaller like friskies is small.
prodiet i dont rekemen cos i kena one bag smells rancid.

shah alam alot pet shop. i buy from one cos i think they offer good price. the one @ metia residence. kinda far frm ur place, so just shop around.

friskies got colouring. later to save cost, u need to buy a big bag. choose a budget cat food tht dont hv colouring. earlier i hv posted how i vacuum a big bag dry food.

u go to pet shop u see the price, u devide wit kg to see how many rm / kg, to see which suits ur budget.

core vac for cats can be aslow as rm35. so u ask afew vets before decide.

for can food, most of it contains gelling agents, gels, thickeners.. if you check the ingredient list.

last time wiskas got one tht is just tuna in water. no add other stuffs. and the inside is very compact, so kinda worth to buy. now no more oledi.

recently found 2 tht din list any gels.

yes kitten food higher in calorie also the protein content is suppose to be higher, fat oso higher.. make them grow faster.

but i feed my adopted kitten ( now oledi 1.5 yo) adult cat food since 6mths cos i dun wan him to be gemok pig...

when gemok very hard to loose the weight esp neutered + indoor cat...

luckily he is outdoor n i keep him within my house compound, everyday he catch stuffs non stop so he got alot exercise...

leaving food out for cat to eat till full is mainly bcos the owner dun have time to feed a few times?

cat can really gorge, and become fat esp indoors.
for me i think they shouldnt eat too much, so i only feed them twice a day starting frm 6mths.

also food exposed to air, doesn't smell fresh...
