I've also been asking around about the reputation of the tattoo artists in Dragonfly, but thus far no one has directly given me a satisfactory answer. Same with recommendations for tattoo parlours/artists. I live in PJ, and travelling down to Sg Wang is too cumbersome for me at the moment with University and all.

sometimes different tatt artist specializes in diff designs..(correct me if i'm wrong..)
dragonfly has a blog site where u can go check out...they have a few tatt artists...they did mention there who is the most experienced piercer n tatt artist n blah blah...
n ur design for rm300+...is a bit too pricey...maybe its too complicated or somethin...

ninelives...the portfolio u meant, isit for piercings or tattz?
cuz the last time i went there, they showed me a bunch of pics but thru their pc la. perhaps they didnt compile it properly...

i don't know...try to 'cubit' one part of your lips (its outside surface, near to the beard area) with two fingernails gripping the area tight ....do it with force, and all of a sudden

that's how it feels like - 50% of the pain

lips are full of nerve on the inside, try lookin' your own lips in the mirror
the more nerves, the more senses that area of our body...

the most painful piercing i've got so far, besides lobe stretching

heheh....piercing pain 2 weeks
and 2 months of pain when u accidentally bump into the piercing area

and for 6 months.....pain .... when u rotate the ring 360 degrees to clean
cos' the lips inner area....it's hard for the 'fistula' to form(the tunnel that forms the hole for the piercing jewellery to go through)

b4 the fistula forms, when u rotate the ring, it feels like gettin' a new piercing in the lip sometimes, especially when the piercing is very new, and the piercing area is still raw, where the lips tear is still very fresh

the pain just comes back, when u accidentally tore your lips due to eating, or bumping or whatsoeva.......or brushing teeth? tongue.gif

but once the fistula forms completely - no more such problems la

it took me close to 6 months b4 it fully healed - as in like betul betul kaw kaw healed

if u've had use guns for the cartilage piercing

then normally you'd have to remove it....cos' from what i hear, rarely i hear success stories on healed piercings..those that are gunned....cartilage parts
includin' nose

how to know it's healed you may ask? well, if you pull and push that thing as and when u like, you feel no pain

anyways, ur cartilage piercings is not healed yet.....if it's gunned, i suggest you remove it
and when it's healed, go for the needle

when i took my gunned cartilage piercing out, it took me close to half a year to get fully healed
that's what guns do to our soft bones

anyways, if you decide to keep your piercings, remove it every day during the shower time.....and wash it with antibacterial soap around the piercing area, clean the jewellery and quickly put the jewellery back in.......

continue to do that until it's healed

but is there any bump around your cartilage piercing area? if yes, then better remove it.......if your piercing has been like 3 months or more?

if it's not my favourite piercing, and to suffer so much pain, i think i rather not
lol

well, if you like it...don't care la...just go for it
no pain, no gain

damn. i think u guys are talking the hump u get when u use those guns for piercings rite? i have them! on my left ear. i removed my earrings for a long time already.. but i still have that hump. i heard it becuz the gun preassure shots thru the flesh causing it to develop a pale of meat which then becomes a hump. agrh! ninelives, how do i cure it?

btws, 22 feb sounds ok to me. im will fly back on the 21st.
im on facebook n also here and im active! haha. that makes me special.

well, that bump you have from gunned piercings - you could only let it heal by itself, til' it reduces in size
it won't totally disappear whatsoever...unless it's a very new piercing when u took it off

smile.gif

to let the bump heal faster, you could use antibacterial soap and wash it with running water when u shower everyday....til' its maximum-ly reduced in size

i discover this, when i was enquiring on needle piercing......
with needle piercing, there's no bump whatsoever....just clean smooth surface smile.gif

p.s. so far
attendees list is only gingerfish

depends on how long u wear it la...b4 u took it off

and also depending on the area of the piercing

if u take a lip piercing off, one week max and it'll close entirely

most people will have it closed within like 3 days
