QUOTE(spunkberry @ Dec 9 2007, 05:14 AM) Shan (who was fired I think) did my lower back tattoo. Took five hour...the pain really started to come three hours into it cos my skin was soo raw by then. Terence did my ankle tattoo...took two hours...hurt a lot LESS than my lower back one. but if I compare artist quality, I say Shan is better cos my lower back tattoo didn't need a touchup. my ankle one did. Too bad shan is no longer working there. Oh ok. My friend suggested this guy but I cant remember his name. Dunno. Plan to get it before I leave for Australia next year but now buzy working. Thanks.

I'm thankfully not one of the oldest ones among my cousins so it doesn't really matter. My mom has always been pretty liberal so nobody was too surprised to see that I have two tattoos. in answer to your question, I've been to the outlet in The Curve but I didn't get a tattoo there so I wouldn't know if they're good or not.

I've heard that the most painful body part to get a tattoo on is the ribs. least painful would be the arms. upper back would hurt less than the lower back. This post has been edited by spunkberry: Dec 10 2007, 10:53 PM

Any area with less fat/flesh would hurt more because of less layers between the bones and skin. SO usually around the ribs, lower back bone. I heard the area near you backside also very painful. Especially area with tender skin

nice to find some like minded ink and steel afficiandos here on lowyat. lol, guess i haven't been snooping around much other than in the gamer's forum, aha ^^ anyways, here goes, heh:-
i. what kinda piercings & tattoo(s) you have? 5 tatts. bunga terung on either side of my shoulders. aso nyalak on my right arm. full om prayer on my right forearm. stylised lotus, the size of a... uh, dvd right under my nape, mid back.
taken out all my piercings, no point listing em down here. though i'm interested in snakebites lately. but they look so much better on girls, yum, haha.
ii. where u got them? Borneo Ink, all of them.
iii. and tell us about your experiences? uhm, tattoo-ing is a good and addictive pain? =P
iv. Future piercings & tattoo(s) you plan to have? something either on my throat or nape, undecided. also looking at having a full sleeve irezumi style, that's my masterplan, lol. leaving my left arm for it. planning something for my calves, also irezumi style. hopefully can get it done before the end of 2007 ^^
v. Post pictures of your own piercings and tattoos (mine's on page 4) on my fb, too lazy to post here, lol.
