Planing to get a tattoo for quite some time. I heard from a friend that the pain is bearable. I am planing to get it done on lower back but I heard there is quite painful due to the spinal cord. Any recommendation on tattoo studio. One friend suggested Borneo ink while another said dragonfly is not bad. I would like to know the aftercare and healing process

I have a gimungous tattoo on my lower back, done in dragonfly. smile.gif
I don't really want to recommend anything cos I got both tattoos from dragonfly. I say dragonfly only because I have experience only at that studio.

I had three piercings done there...out of the six I have.

Ic. Thanks. How was the pain? Which artist did your tattoo?

Shan (who was fired I think) did my lower back tattoo. Took five hour...the pain really started to come three hours into it cos my skin was soo raw by then. Terence did my ankle tattoo...took two hours...hurt a lot LESS than my lower back one. smile.gif
but if I compare artist quality, I say Shan is better cos my lower back tattoo didn't need a touchup. my ankle one did. Too bad shan is no longer working there.

the artist that currently works at the Dragonfly outlet in One Utama is Terence. He replaced Shan after Shan was fired.

Any area with less fat/flesh would hurt more because of less layers between the bones and skin. SO usually around the ribs, lower back bone. I heard the area near you backside also very painful. Especially area with tender skin
