Which 280? Can run GPU-Z and run built-in render test and check the core clock?

no idea as I bought the whole rig, and bargain with the staff whistling.gif

Whats wrong with getting the 280 man? It still give good price/performance and that extra 1GB Vram definitely gonna help in recent games. thumbup.gif

The R9 280 is still a good card for 1080p,personally,i'd go with R9 280 over R9 285,mainly because of the extra vRAM which might help in playing games which eats a lot of vRAM and price. tongue.gif RM140 difference just for lower power consumption and tiny bit better performance isn't worth it IMHO. wink.gif

new tech in Tonga or R9 285 process four primitives per clock cycle and has roughly 2 – 4x the tessellation performance of the R9 280 AND There’s a new pre-scaler that improves the quality of high ratio downscaled media and the chip can upscale / downscale to 4K in real time.. or oh only 2GB vram.. Tongo don't have 4GB version ? hmm.gif oh Than should get R9 290 Series.. 4Gb is 4GB lolx

just read reviews of the Lightning... gosh that card is humongous and weights heftly!!!!!
and it also eats 3x slots shocking.gif shocking.gif

i think the Sapphire Vapour X or Tri X is more "moderate" when comparing price and size laugh.gif

AC Unity?I don't think the HD7970 will have much problems. tongue.gif The game is badly optimized.. doh.gif

Also,your APU will cause bottleneck,so high settings is a no-no. tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif
