Anyway BASF-PETRONAS Chemicals or BPC is the very bestttttttttttttt place start to built your foundation in O&G. Trust me I know because I work in (maaf dirahsiakan lulz) project.

Tolong jangan lepaskan peluang untuk memasuki BPC. I saw a lotsa ex-BPC already working at Middle East earning very big big fat salary.

Bro racism is everywhere not only in Malaysia but all over the world, not only O&G industry but others as well.

Bro I am a Melanau. Some peoples does not certify Melanau as Bumiputra, even Iban and some natives at Sabah which penduduk asal also not certified Bumiputra by some ignorance Peninsular peoples, padahal kalau ikut Federal Constitution enshrined by law and also perkara asal 18/20 agreement - Melanau, Orang Asli, Iban, Kadazan, Murut, Bajau, Kenyah, Lunbawang, Bisaya all of these natives are Bumiputra.

Aduhhh I don't want to get further details about this matter. Just chill okay. Racism is normal in O&G not because of Malay stuff kinda of things but because of the ignorance mindset. If you are working at Middle East lagi parah bro racism - just the matter how well you play the racial card.

Got questions, how long it will take for technician to become exec?

I've gone to their walk-in iv, and I will be offered as technician instead of exec. Reason is because I am fresh and don't have any experience in the field, so I have to start from below.

But as far as I know, usually degree will be placed as exec right? according to their HR la,

Anyway, I'm mechanical degree fresh grad.

Now working in Middle East, just 1 time interview.
Did they really racist as Malaysian? Nope, they know their limits and will only choose the position that no need to crack head. Other departments are hiring people across the globe. Unlike Malaysian, they know they can't do it but still die die want to sit there. MAS is the best example.
In Malaysia, they will see the name first before employing, sad but true.

Most people that work in Petronas will run to Middle East after few years

that shows petronas is a good place to learn and gain experience, right? and the knowledge and skills gained from petronas are recognized, right? companies there (in middle east) believe ppl from come from petronas can do the jobs, right?

I owed big time to Petronas. Seriously aku terhutang budi walaupun aku dah keluar from Petronas.
