Finally. HSBC cashback in

Same.. I reload twice and got the points after my second reload.. not sure why...

I have called the CS and they told me that for Grocery & Petrol, the transaction must be via Card (Paywave also can) , if via Samsung Pay, it will be consider as e-Wallet
I have tested with small amount and all spending at Tesco / Giant / AEON Big via Samsung Pay are counted towards eWallet spending.
Thus I use the physical card and wave it in Giant / Tesco / AEON Big and i got the cashback tracked under Grocery. Same goes to Petrol.

nothing to dispute.. just because it actually fall under 2 categories (e-Wallet & Groceries), so we might think it will count it as groceries. but the condition is based on entry mode (via Virtual Card No in Samsung Pay) then the transaction will be calculated as e-Wallet, although we don't think Samsung Pay is eWallet

Grab fixed the issue only 1K of Points this month.

Ringgitplus hardsell HSBC, they dont even bother you check what card you applied before. dIRECT apply with Bank will be better since Ringgitplus is just a agent to hold your data and pass them to bank in bulk.. If Bank offer guarantee gift like TnG, Lazada voucher, better get from Bank. RinggitPlus just wanna get your commission to support their "Fake' Flash Deal..

It was good before 2020.. They have changed the process since this year.
The process was like we submit our phone no and basic info and they will pass our info to Bank and Bank's Sales Team will call to follow up. We dont submit documen directly to RinggitPlus. That time only Maybank was using XPress Apply. For other bank, RinggitPlus is just a middleman.
For now and my recently experience, they are moving to using Chatbot via Whatsapp. RinggitPlus Call Centre will do first screening of our data and document before submission to the bank. Bank only do the approval job (assumed less work for Bank side,) Worst to worst Bank might just call and ask you some question /reject then approve your application. However, the lead time is longer because the Call Centre is too slow to process due to limited resource and they do failed to process some application until I keep follow up. FYI, I did applied 2 credit card via RinggitPlus this year from diff bank and the processes are same.\
If you notice, they change the way of promo and use "flash deal" to attract customer and to cover the cost, last time they wont give high value item like IPhone etc and mostly are guaranteed gifts .

Transaction captured via Samsung Pay will be counted as eWallet in HSBC. If you would like to Grocery Spending Quotat you have to use Physical Card. Verified with CS and Tested by myself. (Although I don't understand why Samsung Pay is an eWallet.. )

Assuming you are referring to MPower Platinum Credit Card-i.

Nope. Only Giant , AEON BIg, MyDin and Tesco.

Same situation as fruitie , the one reload sharp at 12.00 am came in late, around 12.04, but the one i reload on 12.02 reloaded almost immediately

Called HSBC and got the same offer as well 3 swipes of any amount (but must be Card Present Transaction, not online) in 45 days from the day i called for the rebate to be credited in 2-3 months.

Erm Did you get the rebate then?. I thought if reload Tng can count as 1 transaction,. but I asked CS whether Online Transaction included but CS told me it is excluded.. not sure whether anyone use online and got the rebate.

Just wondering anyone tried to purchase and gotten the cashback recently (using MPower Platinum Credit Card-i) ?
Since Tesco will be rebranded to Lotuss but their merchant name already updated to Lotuss when it is posited in Credit Card Statements..

not sure anyone got this situation. Received Auto waiver for Annual Fee for Amanah Platinum-I , but when call to CS, they said the don't have any offer for SST Rebate. not sure is this CS or I should call another time to check again.
