This month i miss the statement date so i only manage to reload 1.5k, but thats is eligible for 1%.

1% of 1500 is 15

But in my statement i only got 3.5 cashback….

i managed to get full cb after complaining to the cust resolution + BNM after their investigation for 2 months

There are 2 types of cashback.
1 is normal cashback 0.2%. This one is credited based on statement
Another 1 is everyday cashback (7.8% / 8%). This one tracked based on calendar month, and credited next month

Guys, wanted to ask... Let's say I'm taking out 2000 cash advance. With 18% per annum for HSBC credit card, how much do I pay eventually after 6 months.

Similar to you, recently got charged SST with no usage after SST but after calling she agreed waiver with 3x any amount spent. Was told no AF since I met their terms. To my horror even before I started spending I saw AF charged. Called in again and was told I didn't meet their "criteria".

So I wanted to cancel but somehow can only proceed after paying SST + AF and I did. Few days later got call and told will get AF + SST reimbursement if I retain card.

In a dilemma since getting back especially that AF is a lot and accepted an upgraded card offer to replace my existing cards.

Thinking whether wanna stay with them after this and risk facing the same issue again next year

Umm, apparently there's another min RM2k TnC on top of that, applies to all HSBC cards

2k annual spend as condition for AF waiver apart from min 1x swipe per month, but I don't know where to look for this criteria. Apparently that's what 3 out of 4 SC that talked to me mentioned this because I did 12 swipes but did not fulfil the min 2k spend.

Mine was Visa Plat I think but apparently applies to all HSBC including MPower according to the SC.

Just a quick update about my card was charged both SST and annual fee. Directly write to HSBc via the in app chat box, was attended by live agent.

Got no problem to waive the annual fee and SST but provided need to use the card for 3 transactions regardless of the amount. But have to wait for 1.5 months for the SST credit = you have to pay first then it will credit back at the latter date.

See my annual fee got reversed at the next day, received my new card too since the current one is approaching it expiry date. That’s all from my end

Mine they supposed to waive if i do at least one transaction per month.
So far they had been waiving for me without issue.
