LOL if the person wants mid and he can go toe on toe with the opponent its doesnt matter what hero that person plays.
the problem with dota now is they all think themselves are the most pro one in the team |

QUOTE(babycry123 @ Jan 16 2015, 09:25 PM) I wish i could, but its not that simple. Even my teammates don't see the true power of lycan. That screenshot was intended for my carry player btw. I told him to spam TB and Lycan in solo mmr, but he refused to do so. Sayang mmr punya pasal. If i have to teach him everything, i might as well just recruit a 4k mmr carry player. I fulfilled my obligation as team captain(drafter) by playing 120 straight solo mmr game since we formed the team, but my players can't even spam a single hero. That's why i had enough, and spammed lycan just so that i can show him the result. You can get a mentor to teach you, you can watch a lot of replays, but its not just the same as your own experience. Throw away conventional wisdom, and try out new stuff yourself. Ok simple tips: -Lycan is not rat hero. You go 5man. These days if i see a rat lycan, memang nak mintak penyepak, menyedihkan. -At level 7, + medallion, you'll overpower every single mid hero in dota except meepo. -Before 7 use your wolf to farm, if your teammates ask you to control rune with wolf, show them this " _|_ ". -When you sense teamfight on other lanes, "JERIT". That 2nd skill = free first blood. -When attempting early rosh, try to bring your carry with you and let him take the aegies. -On dire you can take it anytime you want, on radiant i prefer after their mid and offlane tier 1 down. -Oh btw, skip boot. If you want to kill -> ulti. Boot too mainstream. Medallion + Vlad first. -Book 3 item wajib before you can take t2 tower. Manta for AM, Radiance for Naga, Aghs for meepo, you get what i mean. -Some people don't know this, but always open your book before you ulti. Don't ask me why, you do that first and you'll understand why. The rest are your decision making and your experience. BTW lets just keep this thing here, don't share this shit. If i draft Jakiro, 90% of the time he will go offlane. I don't like Jakiro as support.
BTW another lycan tips that i don't see people do, If you die in a teamfight before you can use your ulti. Buyback -> ulti and you'll arrive at your destination in literally 5 second. By the time you arrive, you can clean that shit up. Kinda like ember spirit remnant. |

I realised most of my loses are made of carry heroes "me". Whenever I play carry one thing I realise is that the supporter won't automatically buy wards and stuffs. Whenever I play support, I never let the wards stop, be it obs or sent. Maybe all these matter or don't for the winning. You can get a mentor to teach you, you can watch a lot of replays, but its not just the same as your own experience. Kaki Ayam. Being carry is not about farming and last hit. Its not about getting your items at X mins mark. If you want to see good carry, see how he plays with 6 slots. Some people argue that MMR is useless. Let me tell you whats more useless than your mmr, your KDA, GPM and XPM. I don't play party, even with my teammates. Either we scrim together or practice in solo mmr. Why solo mmr, because solo mmr makes you strong. Imagine a carry that can handle pressure when abandoned by his supports, a carry that can find a space to farm when there's no space to farm, imagine a carry that can read opponent movement without wards, imagine a carry that can anticipate opponent game plan based on current situation. That's the quality that a 6k carry has, and imagine he has 2 competent supports in cm match/scrim , his effectiveness will increase tenfold. |

I suggest you start focusing on core role before getting into support. Support is 10 times more complicated compared to core roles in lower bracket. Core roles are more straightforward, support roles are more subtle. That's why you need to be decent at core roles before you start transitioning into support. Being support is more than just buying wards. Your map awareness, anticipation, positioning and mechanics need to be in sync with your carry. You need to understand how your carry thinks, you need to understand how his hero works before you can support him. Best supports in the world are usually great core players. Kuroky, Zai, Fy. Even most PW players agree that Fy is one of the scariest core player in perfect world solo rmm. Set your goal to learn, not to win. Get out of your comfort zone, start playing mechanically demanding heroes like storm spirit, invoker, meepo if you're still not used to it. You will fail so hard at first, but the reward you get later is so worth it. Ignore your teammates, you owe them nothing. Better, just mute them all. If they lose its not your fault, its their incompetence. People think they know much more than they do, even my support partner didn't know the correct positioning when i'm pulling. I had to make this to explain how to position himself. http://imgur.com/a/Xhgw3 If only these people who always blame others see what i see, they wouldn't even dare blame their teammates anymore because they would be so ashamed at their own ignorance and incompetence. Edit: This is how our team communicate. Only 360p for now, youtube still processing. We plan on releasing more videos like this in the future. Only team matchmaking against lesser opponent, we wont upload scrim videos against tier 2 teams. This post has been edited by Kaizer96: Jan 17 2015, 05:34 AM |

QUOTE(Kaizer96 @ Jan 17 2015, 05:04 AM) This is good. Very few supports know how to properly zone out the offlaner. A well-executed trilane should force the offlaner to rotate to neutrals or lose falling behind heavily. |

babycry123 » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « You are my hero! You speak out my heart, my soul as a core support that I would cry with joy reading those text! This should be a meta instead of those jugger meta or what. Total Respect for you. Support need to be experience, u need to know dota in and out before you can do anything, its like playing mind game with enemy support, then feed the information to team and let them know what to do, what item, when fight, and what they do wrong to do better next time. But when ever I do tell them in pug, they just flame blame then flame again. But when they do listen and make comeback, they respect me then commend me. That is dota, anything can happen, just never give up. Here is some of my favourite quote. He is my hero as well~ "Everyone must forget the words CARRY/SUPPORT/GANKER, this is all rubbish. If you want to be useful, to win the game, you must play on all heroes, instead of crying like a baby when you have to play carry" - Puppeh Kaizer Best Quote: "Set your goal to learn, not to win." His drawing kinda advance, only ppl who play support will understand.
1st Picture is simple, the basic of basic double pull. *Sac mean sacrifice the tree for better vision?* That my guess though 2nd n 3rd Picture indicate there is a chance enemy will interupt ur camp pulling and farm them instead, u need to be careful, eg. axe might contest your creep pull and take most gold advantage, if they do, swtich to 4th picture and go harrass instead. 4rd picture mean u have to sacrifice pull and go harrass instead. This is tricky depend on your carry farm, u have to suit the carry, if he cant farm under tower, don double pull, go zone our ur enemy instead, that way he have more farm. And remember to stay at range where u don leech ur carry exp too much. 5th picture told you about the timing u have to control really well. You have to double pull, then sacrifice the camp farm and go staack pull instead for the carry to farm later. after double pull, always remember to contest rune, bounty rune is always meant for support, else for mid hero who cant farm well cos enemy team is better. This is all how i analysis through the view from Radiant. If anything feel free to correct me. |

This is all how i analysis through the view from Radiant. If anything feel free to correct me. The sequence of pictures display how a trilane is supposed to make use of the adjacent jungle on the Radiant safelane. As you know, there tend to be two supports in a trilane - the 4th and 5th position. The 4th executes the pulls while the 5th zones out the offlaner and protects the pull from being contested. After the pull is contested, the supports either contest the bottom rune (and possibly rotate to another lane) or flank the offlaner to try land a kill. Rinse and repeat until the laning stage is over. Things to remember: 1. Since a couple of patches back, the experience gained by killing neutrals is shared by both friendly and enemy heroes, so it's now extra important to zone out the offlaner. 2. You must either stack/double pull. If you do a single pull, it'll result in the lane being pushed out further as your second wave of creeps will combine with the leftover from the first wave. 3. The 4th position executes the pull and gains the gold from it. The 5th position stays on the outskirts of exp range to sap exp while denying the offlaner a chance to contest the pull. You can alternate who pulls/zones if you're running greedy supports (eg: ES & Lina). |
